Hope he didn't shoot the ba*tard with a hollow point bullet. That would be a "No! No!" in politically correct New Jersey. All the same, "Way to go, buddy!" Maybe there would be fewer crooks if more folks would adopt the saying: "We don't dial 911. We dial .357!"

Oh no! There goes another victim of gun violence. I am serious. Getting shot in the head is obviously violent but it is certainly not a crime in this case. Gun violence in defense of yourself is a good thing and is NOT the same as gun crime. Be sure you do not let anti-gunners (victim disarmament advocates) use the term "gun violence" without reminding them of this incident. Control the vocabulary or you lose the argument before it begins.

I worked for a Swedish company and have been to Sweden. Many Swedish men envy our gun rights and our right to self defense because they have neither. If this case happened in Sweden it would be considered attempted murder or murder if the intruder dies. In Sweden, ANY resistance to crime by the victim is itself a crime. They, or at least their elite, believe the criminal is obviously sick and not responsible for his actions. The victim, on the other hand, should know better than to hurt the criminal.
The US is unique in this respect; we should hold on to our gun rights, one of the few rights we have left after GWB.
The Swedes themselves are very law abiding. As long as the Swedes and their cold weather keep out the undesirables they will be fine.

Maybe all the criminals should go to Sweden!

I just don't know quite how to answer that.

Could you try that again in grammatical English?

How?

Pretty simple, really.

Anyone breaking and entering someone else's home is a scumbag.

See? That was easy, wasn't it? And I don't need to know who they are or what their background is.

MSTIGGER, if someone climbed in your kitchen window at five in the morning, I suppose you would fix him some chicken and waffles?

Thankfully, that's a moot point because no one in my family is a sociopathic criminal.

My parents did their job and made sure I and my siblings knew right from wrong before we were 5 yrs old, and I and my wife have done the same with our kids.

I regret you seem to have a rather loose grip on the concept of right & wrong yourself. My condolences.
