Not Pulling Over For EMS/Firemen/Police

What in God's name is up with people in New Bern not pulling over for emergency vehicles? I'm am so sick and tired of these morons in this town taking their sweet @ss time when there is an ambulance behind them. Anyone else notice this? After all, that could be someone's child or family member they're off to resuscitate...

well let's see i all depends on a safe pull off site and how eratic the emergancy vehicle is being driven. i can remember trying to make why an the emergancy vehicle crossing three lanes to the lane i was driving in and causing about $1000 in damage to my car because i drove into a ditch to get out of the way maybe you should also look at your self and the surroundings before you start bad mounthing drivers in New Bern, and also look at yourself .

I had to laugh when I read your post...clearly you are grammatically challenged, but ignorant to boot. My observations are not bad-mouthing, nor are they a generalization of all New Bern residents. There are, however, a great deal of drivers in this town that do not get over when emergency vehicles come through. This does not include those that cannot safely pull over or stop, but those who will travel down the road with lights and sirens behind them and act as if they have a right to stall said vehicles. In the future, when you choose to post a reply to someone's message, perhaps you could pull your head out of your @** and realize that certain things are implied, such as safety issues. Moreover, I DO abide by laws governing our highways, and I am a very concientious and cautious driver. So if you were in doubt of my driving techniques, rest assured, they're pretty decent.
