Beware of Family Dental.

At best, Family Dental misdiagnosed me. At worst, they lied. I wish someone would investigate them. They seem to sell patients crowns instead of a standard filling or they promote more costly periodontal maintenance instead of a basic cleaning. In my case, they said I needed a crown and periodontal maintenance. I questioned this and got another opinion. The second opinion dentist and hygienist gave me a 1 1/2 hour cleaning. Probably the best I've ever received. In contrast, Family Dental spent 20 minutes measuring the plaque on my teeth. Instead, Family Dental took measurements of my plaque and began to sell me on periodontal maintenance. I couldn't believe it! However, my second opinion dentist confirmed I didn't need periodontal maintenance. l didn't need a crown. My filling was intact. In other words Family Dental lied or they seriously misdiagnosed me. Beware of Family Dental.

Tip of the iceberg: Bad Dentists.

Not the best dentists.

I have read many negative reviews about Family Dental after going there. Too bad I did not read them first. Before going there. Family Dental tried to sell me all kinds of procedures that I did not need. I have now had this confirmed by other dentists. The dental cleaning was not a cleaning at all. It was the worst cleaning I ever had. It took 20 minutes at best. It was more of a pre-sale evaluation.

I also heard that Family Dental used to be a decent practice, but they were sold within the last year or two. They are now corporate owned. So, some reviewers who have liked Family Dental may be very displeased with the new corporate owned Family Dental.

Not only this, I also read some reviews that said a few negative reviews is nothing in the scheme of things (over 20 years), but most unhappy patients do not write reviews. They simply do not go back.

So, negative complaints are just the tip of the iceberg. The negative reviews on this dental practice represent that statistical proportion of the overall population that are not happy with Family Dental.

In other words, there are far more negative reviews on Family Dental than positive reviews, and I agree with almost all of them. So, get a second opinion. Do not trust this corporate owned dental practice.

It apparently is NOT the same dental practice that you used to know.

I HAD A LOOSE CAP,WENT IN AND ENDED UP WITH 6,000 DOLLARS WORTH OF IMPLAINTS WITHOUT THE CROWNS.THEY BROKE MY FRONT TEETH WHILE INSTALLING THE IMPLAINTS SO THEY TRIED TO FIX THEM AND CRACKED ANOTHER TOOTH,RUSH,RUSH/MONEY/MONEY THATS HOW THEY DO BUISNESS.ROUGH,INCOMPOTENT,EXP ENSIVE.LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR DENTAL WORK.
