Why do you or don't you believe in God?

I do not believe in the God of the Israelites as I was raised in a different culture, where the religion is not Abrahamic. I was taught to be tolerant and respectful of other religions and deities, and also to avoid Christian missionaries because they tended to be rude and ignorant of the culture of the people they were trying to "save". We were fine and peaceful and well off and didn't need snooty, condescending foreigners telling us how, when, and to whom to pray.
Do I believe in a Supreme Being, a Creator? No, I do not.
A serious response to a serious question. Peace to all.
