Yes, this place is really bad news. The people who attend are all brain washed. What a shame.

Christianity itself is a cult. How ironic, to single out one church, when anyone ignorant enough to believe in a god is equally brainwashed.

I attended a Weighdown seminar in Denver a year ago, weighing 265 pounds and thru this church's ministry I have lost 90 pounds and my wife has lost 30. We have gained a new relationship with God that is so awesome!! Remnant Fellowship is not perfect but it is the Best place that I can say that I have seen personally that has the fruits of true Christianity!

One thing is for certain. They aren't feeding hungry folks. Another 37174, no mission having, no tax paying worthless "church". You think this is what Jesus wants you to do? Please...

They do not beg for money like your typical churches, as a matter of fact I never hear them asking for money! You're right I do want that cheeseburger and I've eaten many in the last year and have still lost 100 pounds!!!

It's a cult alright. I'd encourage 'members' of the 'group' to do a little research and reading up. They don't ask for money because large number of members work for her company already. As well she has 'members' vounteering in service in her home.
They 'love bomb' people which is a cult tactic, reel them in with that show of love. They call all other churches 'counterfeit' and theirs only will lead to salvation.
She has deemed herself a prophet AND commands people to listen to only her son's music.
She preaches that extra weight = being a sinner... funny as her husband is quite overweight and she hides him out, doesn't show him. Check out her youtube videos.... surrounded by only perfect beautiful skiiny young people.
Oh and in one it is REALLY creepy when she describes her vision of Jesus Christ as "Hot, young tan, 6 pack abs driving a lexus or mercedes and living in a beautiful mansion" this was after she was asked about her life of obscene excess and how that gels with Christ's lifestyle and teachings.... it's grotesque what she does. Pray for her misguided soul and 'flock'....

Wouldn't it have been a lot cheaper to just go to Weight Watchers? Tithing to a cult like this doesn't see like a smart idea to me. If you are fat you simply eat too much and get too little exercise. God doesn't play a role in that nor some wacky church.

They are certainly cultish. Don't say one thing they don't like, leadership will jump on you, threaten you. Gwen reads from the Bible, but then interprets it her way, which is unique. Reminds me of Jehovah Witnesses.

From a Christian perspective they are most definitely a cult. They do not believe in the trinity- that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one. Google it, Gwen is on record stating this, and anyone who is attending this "gathering" thinking that is it an upright Christian church is very misled... If you're an atheist or non-believer to begin with it really shouldn't matter to you anyway.

I find it interesting that Remnant Fellowship claims to believe in submission (submission to God's authority, submission to the authorities in the church, wives submitting to husbands, children submitting to their parents, etc.) but SHE is the "prophetess" and her husband isn't listed as one of the leaders of the church or even mentioned as an active member of Remnant Fellowship. Heck, you can't even find a picture of him on their website -- but he IS listed as an Executive Officer of Weigh Down Workshops. So Gwen can somehow submit to God AND be a leader of "The One True Church" when her husband is barely a participant?!?!! Speaks volumes about Remnant...

Ask the folks she bought out and made sign confidentiality contracts when they confronted her with her son's numerous affairs. Or her poor daughter-in-law that she told would never see her children if she left because they had they money and would have her made to be an unfit mother. Gwen is a controlling fanatic.

Lol is this really a bunch of grown adults talking about a subject that they know nothing about other then google searches? There are a bunch of churches that start everyday if you don't believe what they are teaching there's no need to judge just keep whatever that anger is to your self.
