During prep for the trial,State of California V Scott Peterson was going on. I watched it intently. Became convinced that had we defended like that(reas. doubt), Owens would have been convicted of murder one. The circumstantial evidence was compelling. Therefore, I had to do something out of ordinary convention. It was carefully planned out and successful.
