Wonder why we need the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA)?

WSNM television in Nashville, Tennessee is reporting that David Hill, an openly gay man, was fired Tuesday from the former Brentwood Holiday Inn, simply because he was gay.

About his dismissal Hill said this…
They literally said to me because of my orientation and my alternative lifestyle, that I was not a fit for the hotel… The owner said, 'I don't give a damn. They can sue me. I will not have any of the gays in leadership roles in my hotel.' And that's a quote,"

Thank you for that delightful piece of information. I appreciated it. It is indeed very interesting to say the least.(Those British do talk funny sometimes, don't they?) Just kidding....I have several very close friends that are British and They do talk like that...come to think of it.:o)
British English never fails to crack me up! But I guess that when they hear US talk, they feel the same way.
It reminds me of that joke about the lady from Houston who tried to make some conversation with a British lady while she was visiting London.
"Hi ya'll, I'm from Texas, where' y'all from?" she enquires with bright Texan enthusiasm.
"I am from a place where we consider it improper to end our sentences with prepositions" replied the dowager haughtily.
The Texan was silent for a moment and then "Oh, well, where are y'all from, bitch?"

I say sue the hell out of that owner and shut that hotel down. Maybe then Mr. Hill can use the money and open up his own hotel.
Our gay friendly nightclub along with MANY others here in our Ohio city are now boycotting All Tennessee products. Example: Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey. All our remaining inventory of all products are double the price per drink...and we're passing out flyers to all our patrons as to WHY we will no longer carry ANY products from Tennessee. We are also boycotting all the Holiday Inns... the buck stops here in GAY Ohio!

Think about this...by your reasoning, they can't sleep togeather because they are not married but Tom and his friend are not allowed the option of marriage...get it now?

My cousin is gay and I have known it since we were kids. We are both in our 50's. He works hard, so good hearted, kind and gentle to everyone. He is a God sent to his mom. He takes very good care of her. I have no problem with him at all.
Now grant it when he and Tom comes to visit I will not let them sleep together because of the kids in my home. But I have had male & female's that when not married I would not let them stay either. Could stay, but not to sleep together. This is just my beliefs, but I still love him very much.
It was wrong to just fire anyone beacause he is gay. If he done his job well, showed up on time, caused no trouble he should have not been fired.

You can now thank Haslam for making it easier for this type of discrimination to continue.

Buried deep in their subconcious is the indisputable fact that this little restriction will put the damper on gay sex."Hmmmm, Now if only we can get the town, state, or federal govt to enact such a law we will stamp out homosexuality!" If two (or more) people want to sleep together, the least a good host can do is let them with out injecting their own morality.
