Baby Released From Hospital After Antioch Crash
An 8-month-old Pittsburg baby was released from the hospital during the weekend after suffering major injuries Thursday in a suspected drunken driving crash, but his 3-year-old brother is still on life support, California Highway Patrol Officer Tom Maguire said Monday.
Doctors at Children's Hospital & Research Center, Oakland told officers that the next three days are crucial for the 3-year-old, who has remained in critical condition with major head injuries since being ejected from the vehicle during the 1:23 a.m. crash, Maguire said. Read more

Released back to the mother? Who put her kids in a car, unrestrained, with a drunk driver? Hellloooooooo? Is CPS not paying any attention?
|
|
Pray for the 3 year old. That's what needs to be done right now. What she did was stupid but don't torture her emotionally. But I agree.. CPS needs to check up them. I think the baby was returned because she is still probably being breast fed. Then again what the hell is she doing drinking >:[

I happen to think that people who are criminally negligent towards children deserve what they get if people talk honestly about them. |
|
Why put a child in a car seat and NOT buckle the car seat in? Unreal. 2 minutes of time could have saved as lot of pain and suffering for everyone involved. But then again, WHY did all 4 adults have to be in the car to take ONE adult home. Why drag your babies out at 1:30 in the morning when the other adults could have stayed at home with the kids? None of this makes sense. The driver I have NO sympathy for, the mother, IDIOT, the other two adults were innocent bystanders...riders...so to speak. And who hurts the most? The kids and everyone who cares about them.

People I know this is off topic but we need help in saving the little anminal that was set on fire in lancaster as reported in the Sacramento BEE----------
I am worried that the animal control will adhear to policy and destroy that little fellow after 8 days. Heres another thought : If in fact they plan to stay on policy and the animal is doomed, what kind of care is the little guy getting being he is to be killed. Even Carl Chestman got exellent care up till the time they executed him as with all condemed prisnors. Maybe the bloggers should e-mail the supervisors office to see what is going to happen to the puppy. by going to the supervisors office it ensures proper care and may spare the animals life. Heres his rep in the area: Norm L. Hickling 661,726,3600 nhickling@labos.org E-mail or call but please keep it civil. |

That is a very painful thing to recover from. With all the hungry children in the world.. I think the money would be better spent on one of them. Heck you could even spend the money on a human that has been burned badly. My heart goes out to the puppy.. but if they put puppies to sleep that have Parvo to save it from suffering.. why would you want to allow a puppy to suffer from severe burns? The best thing to do is put it to sleep asap and lock the criminal up with a rapist. |

The mother should lose custody of the 8 month old and the 3 year old. There are times when you forget your keys in the car.. or forget to make your child brush their teeth before bed.. but you NEVER forget to strap your child into a car being driven by a drunk... BECAUSE YOU NEVER DO THAT!!! Throw her in jail.. throw all of them in jail.. test their HAIR for drugs and throw away the key.

What is it with California drivers? Do you think that you can come to Idaho and drive 100 mph on the freeways? Try to pass, clipp the rear end of someone that's trying to get out your way, you render their car out of control and roll it a few times, but just enough to eject a passenger and kill her. Drinking at 11.30 am and driving like that.......SHAME ON YOU

It's even worse then you think.... this drunk never got hit.. she was SO wasted that she rolled her own car by over correcting her drunken swerve. |

Drinking is what the Antioch city council wants everyone to do.
They paid $450,000 of our tax money to build a drinking establishment in the down town. This while making a service station hire armed guards in SE Antioch cause it can't control the criminal element who hang out. The City Council wants crime, not business and encourages slime then crys alligator tears about people getting killed. They are as guilty as any child killing drunk. . |

You are right. The changes need to be made ain the government before they can take place on the street. Obviously the system is failing the citizens. Where do we start? I have written my Senator and Assemblymen on several occasions about my views.. problem is.. no one else is doing it. What can we do to get the ball rolling? |

Write Dear Abby, it might serve just as much good.
It's just idle pharts in the wind. There isn't an honest dime behind any candidate running or in office. The system can't boast a single has been or will be that isn't part of the problem. Torlakson and Miller made this county a heap of dog poop and people want them like an abused house wife running back for more. It's a disaster waiting in the wing with a clown telling us it will all be just fine... Just blow us a siren to tell us what we already know. |
|
Come to think of it your right we need to get people organized... Stop asking for our rights and demand real changes. We need to to get organized and it was all your idea. After all you have shown us that writing or asking doesn't do any good we need to get signatures and spread the word about how our leaders are likely common thieves and liars, agents for the communists and perverted greed. I think you have an idea there pal... Long as it is legal we can do this. Cept that part about them rolling. They roll too much. They roll us for taxes and are rolling too much whackie weed I think. |

How is the other child doing? Why no updates on the other child. Let us know what's up.
|
|
|
I have been asking question.. but getting no answers. I think the other child is still on life support.
I have been in contact with Senator Torkelsons office and they act like they have no idea how to go about change.. I guess we need to write up our own petitions and stand in front of walmart to get signatures. Then we can submit it to Congress. |
