In fact, you haven't said anything insightful whatsoever.

I never said home prices won't continue to drop. What I said was that you, I, no one, can accurately predict the future behavior of any market. To convince oneself to be able to do so is to attain the highest level of foolishness.
Your little formula is hilarious... unless we're able to look back a year from now and find that it was brilliant...

The Problem Paul is that you NEVER say anything that males sence. you speak so far out of your rear that you have made yourself a laughing stock of these replies. Like that last person said, its your way only and if anyone says something different, then you come on and have to shove your thoughts down everyones throat. wake up and go outside and see the world for a little while and stay off the PC untill you come back with real world situations tucked under your belt.

Yes, maybe so, but he adds excitement to topix.

Why are we not holding the lenders accoutable. They lied and got people who obviously couldn't qualify for homes into them just to collect their commision. Why isn't anyone being tried for fraud. The lenders, the home owners, and the banks? Anyone who stated an income they didn't have and anyone who didn't verify it. This is fraud and I don't think honest hard working Americans should have to suffer for the greed of others.

Let the market correct itself and quit propping it up on the backs of the tax-payers.

I see - you have a problem with anyone suggesting what might be a stable price level based on historical averages. Have fun with your quibbling over minor issues. I'll keep my focus on what is important - home prices have a lot further to fall before the housing market stabilizes.
Now lookie here: I'm not saying all you instant real estate experts aren't in fact the supreme geniuses you're claiming to be.

What I'm saying, oh Warren Buffet-like ones, is kindly show me proof of your expertise, and I'll immediately believe everything you're predicting. Fax me a bank statement showing the millions in profit you've made from your own recent market predictions...

or don't.

I'll not be holding my breath waiting for that fax.

I have a client that made over $500,000 in 2006. In 2007 he made less than $20,000. The problem is, he, like many others never took money off the table and left it all in the real estate pot. Today he has a day job wishing he had kept some of that money for times like this.

Most people that speculate don't understand that putting some money aside into a very secure investment is wise. Good times never last forever. My client is learning this now.

No need. I used the formula that guy provided for predicting real estate futures, and it showed he has a balance of -$26.37 in his "investment" account.

By the way: If you hear from him, tell him Maria in the collections department has been trying to contact him all week. She said his phone line has been disconnected.

When a home has been foreclosed, how can a neighborhood take over the yard care so the neighborhood won't look neglected? Do we contact the bank or lender?

Or do we just go over there and mow the lawn? Soon it will be summer and if the water is turned off, everything will dry up.

Have all the neighbors connect garden hoses and go water it.

Think of all the mosquito breeder green slime swimming pools. Yuck.

Madera County mosquito abatement gives away mosquito fish for free, that you can dump into the neighbor's neglected pools. Don't know if Solano has the same deal... probably not with all the naked hippy sierra club types running around up there.

Well, I know they send mosquito abatement, since they were here once, but when they got here, like most calls to agencies concerning me, it was false, and I was already taking care of the problem. It was winter time when my pool went yucky though, I could not imagine the stench of a filthy pool in the summer time.
