The person, who wrote this quote above, obviously knows this kid, who was shot by the deputy who was only defending himself. From what I was told by a reliable source, is that this kid had a long wrap sheet and was very involved in criminal activity.
But as usual in California, all the ghetto rats continue to complain because law enforcement keeps them from doing anything they want to do. And what I mean by that is, basically criminalizing the public... so they cry, complain, and whine, when one of their dirt bag friends, relatives, associates...etc gets what they have coming to them!
What we really need to do is bring back public hangings, executions, maybe start canning ghetto thugs when they steal from you and sell dope on your street to your kids.
Obviously criminals in California like this Bay point ghetto rat arenít afraid to assault cops and if they not afraid to assault a cop believe me they are not the least bit afraid to assault you or your family for their criminal way of life
oh boy buddy,
No one knows who was right or wrong except the two ppl involved.
But for your comments on Califorina.........
Why in the He** do you even live here talking that smack bout the bay area and California?
I'm a home grown girl lived here all my life born in Oakland lived in east Bay for 40 years now.
I've seen it all. You go move to Alaska or some sh*t , You unapreative FOOL, You don't deserve to live in California!!!

I just want to input that yeah maybe the child was in the wrong for running, but is that really a reason to kill someone???? I mean it seems like the contra costa county sheriff's deputys do this type of thing alot!! I think that their department needs to be investigated because they are so f-ing trigger happy!!! if you look into it more of these types of shooting happen to often, and in reality their is many other options than shooting to kill someone, I mean really cops carry alot of defensive weapons that won't kill someone, but they always seem to feel the need to pull out the gun and shoot it, it seems to me like a defendent can't talk if he's dead!! but anyhow to all you people out there giving this poor kid a bad name and have no clue to the type of person that he may have been, and I understand what this family is going through, my uncle was just shot and killed by a contra costa county sheriifs deputy on the 28th of october and that officer also said that it was self defense, when I know that the officer could have used a different form of defense, my uncle also had no weapon, but of course he was mad out to look like a bad guy, I guess now days cops are allowed to do what they wish without consquence!!! but with that being said my heart goes out to the grieving family.

Samantha,

I understand your pain and feel sorry for people who loose family members. I don't think you realize that Cops are not trigger happy. In fact, I believe that they have many senerios where they could shoot people and choose not to. A Cop has to worry about loosing there job, being sued criminally and civilly. A Cop goes to work everyday and puts his or her life on the line. They go through vigorous training to physically and mentally prepare for situations. Cops are not killers. They let the suspects choose there destiny. Look at all the circumstances leading up to the teenager being killed. Cops are not trained to fight fair, they are trained to win by whatever means.

why don't you people stop witch hunting! Let the investigation take its coarse! It's obvious that the kid did something wrong running like he did, most people don't do that for fun! and I'm sure the officer did not go to work that day wanting to shoot and kill a 17 year old boy!! If it was you would you feel good about shooting this kid, I think the officer is running that through his head at about 200 times a second right now! You people forget your talking about trained professionals here. I'm sure the parents of the kid didn't train him to run from the police either! I don't care what their income level is they feel the pain just like you and me! So leave them out of your comments unless your paying respect to them!
Remember these comments do more to escalate the issue then to help! So keep you hear say to your self if your so concerend! and want to help instead of point fingers!

To all of you who have posted something just keep on watching the news. There is more behind what you think you know and there will be some serious stuff taking place later down the road. The news isn't telling the whole story.

Steffen was my stepbrother since he was 6yrs old. A great kid with one of the biggest hearts ever. I agree with some of the statements he made a bad decision and ran one that cost him his life. He wasn't perfect but he want all these thing some of you have called him. No person deceased should ever be talked about they way some of you have disrespect him on here. He didn't have a long rap sheet of crimes and he was raised the best he could have been. He had some pretty tought things happend to him in his life but still had a heart of gold and infectious smile. I wish that something like this may never happen to your family regardless of the thing you have said. Our hearts hurt for him and the void his passing has cause is unexplainable. May you rest in peace my steffen! "Pork and beans"!!!!!!
