What a waste of time and money...
"The program is based on a no-questions-asked approach in which citizens are allowed to turn in guns anonymously for payment"
No questions asked buyback? This just rewards burglars with cash money.
Why not just strip search every paroled felon & illegal alien gangbanger in Contra Costa? I'm sure you'd find plenty of illegal guns to "get off the street."
