Late 1960s the bulb was outside, next to a door in a wall with no windows.

Departing Junction Ave. junior high we stood nearby yet far enough away to be able to run away and get away, and lobbed rocks at that bulb inside its metal cage.

Holes in the cage big enough to allow our smallish rocks to enter but our aim was bad.

Kids still feared "authority" back then (well, most of us) so we did not get to close to the fire station.

Glad now we missed since we would have been branded "the bulb killers" for the rest of our lives.
