The Antioch police are purposely putting out propaganda to gain support for a new section 8 / code enforcement branch for policing a mega plan for a slum in the down town.
The secret plan to build the biggest slum in Northern California is that of those who want redevelopment money and is as evil as it is ill fated.
It is my opinion this involves at least Don Freatas and his followers on the council as well as his newly appointed police chief Jim Hyde.
This is so deceptive that it would create a new welfare housing unit for police to milk and map old residents for a data base that will tell them how and where to harvest old homes under eminent domain so they can tear them down then build mega warehouses for unemployables and low income which will destroy remaining homes prices, thus they buy them up too.
It began by targeting only section 8 and now would kick doors in all over the old town with no cause but a crack in the ceiling or foundation or refusal to turn house into business rental they can license then inspect. It amounts to a full termite AND FAR MORE yearly.
The old down town houses would not only pay for licensing and inspections but outrageous fines as well It would give new para-police- termite inspectors the great 3-7 week with bennies like like no co-pays on med and pensions and tax free status retirement if ever injured on the job.
Just say no to police corruption and remember if they can kick our doors down today yours won't be too far behind.
We did nothing to deserve this but extend a hand to build SE Antioch and now they pay us back buy dumping the trash on or door step while pretending they are cleaning up blight. DOWN WITH CAKE EATERS!
DUMP OUR MAYOR!
Don't forget we have four of our council and mayor that have taken the cash to run for superviser which could be as much as a house. Where did it come from???!
This began with section 8 crimes (the rumor of) which they said had 208 on going investigations but we discovered these were a JOKE.
Sightings for silly reasons like trash cans left in view of the street or a camper or boat IN THEIR OWN DRIVEWAYS!
THAT"S NO CRIME THATS JUST PLAIN BS!!!!!!!!!
Considering the real CRIME in Antioch IT'S a waste of our $ and A RIP OFF by our police!

Do you even live in Antioch?
CRAZY?
Yes, crazy for trying to fight this and try and raise a family because we can't afford to move.
So what do you know?
How to trash people?
Antioch has plenty of those?
Why are you blocking this?
Are you not the babbler?
You give no debate, no content are you just out sniping...
I studied, I made my conclusions and you aren't anybody sharing any knowledge.
So dismiss me if you like I am used to your kind, they usually feed at the troff or live in Orinda.
Perhaps you are an ego maniac like the Mayor.
There is no sane reaction to this City Council wanting to put thousands of people in apartments in harms way. There is however millions in Federal and county redevelopment funds available to do the project I described.
Am I suppose to buy you spin because it would argue against the integrity of our distinguished city council members?
That you in fact believe they don't take developer funds that hurt Antioch?
Oh. I see, we are suppose to ignore that and take your opinion out of the air.
I'm saying that right now the city council is building on liquefaction, on a fault line and in a swamp at taxpayers expense. Care to answer to that or be childish?
Listen up, you follower of the insane . You are likely educated by the AUSD so I forgive your attitude but if you have any questions and are not just making the usual round of snipes you might pose them and not disrupt and trash people cause you may not agree.
You are in violation of the TOS on this site and AOL which is your ISP if you copy that?
I and many others are preparing to counter this project that is secretly planned to make billions for people who don't nor will ever live here.
If you are so sad as to believe them, then I am sure they have another FERRYBOAT they will suit you and I needn't babysit you.
My question to you (if you know any facts) is how much in redevelopment loans does Antioch owe on the last ferryboat they bought?
If you can't answer that you are likely only one more 'Antioch rocket scientist.'
Or perhaps one of their lackeys who think this mess the city is in is just dandy...
Makes sense

No wonder the perverts run Antioch. The city council is too busy chasing the federal handouts from HUD. They in fact provide the prison housing.
The police chief does whatever they tell him.
When do they find time to chase real crime????
Thank god the state has raided redevelopment funds and the supreme court is reviewing private property rights.
Oh but the 'Port authority' land grabbers may yet steal lands with impunity which is the wet dream of Antioch politicians decrying foul section 8 when it is their goal to trash our town with and fill it with trash.

I don't see what the police have to do with this. I don't think it's in their job discription to enforce this on anyone. But I do agree that it looks like Rivertown will be sacrificed for a mega low income project. I hope that is not true and that it is nothing more then rumors. Why was L street widen? Why did they take away the small town feel of Rivertown? They did the same damn thing in Walnut Creek and now in Pleasant Hill. It's sickening but some people call it progress. I myself am for preservation. Plus the Government is talking about stopping it's funding to ACORN. Now I don't think that will end section 8 but it might stop a flood of S8 problem families to be seeded in Antioch. Maybe Oakland can take these people. There are huge areas of unincorporated Oakley that they can place them in. I see a mega Apartment complex just southwest of Main Street near the old church and Jack in the Box. What the hell is that.. a luxury apartment or future high end section 8? Anyways stop sacraficing my families nest egg by bringing down our property value and sue other cities to help take a large percentage of these people off of our hand. Maybe like 80% or so. I pray property values start to sky rocket again and those owners will just sell their homes and that there will be a high demand for houses. No one on section 8 deserves to live in a luxury house. It's bullshit. If you can afford half the rent of a 3000 dollar a month house that means you have to come up with 1500 bucks and that means you don't need Government Assistance. Doesn't anyone down at Welfare check this stuff?

Yes Antioch Police Department in Ca Masters in "PROPAGADA" and fact twisting.

Citizens of Antioch CA.......listen up!

Just stand by and wait until the Federal Law suits pop up again, again. Like in 2007. 2008 and 2009. Where the City of Antioch CA and its Police Department paid out huge sums of money to settle these types of cases out of court with the "TAX PAYERS MONEY".

Its sad but very true, that the Antioch Police Department in CA is "not" the most educated or well trained Police Agency In the Bay area or in California period. Not only do they lack comman sense and trainign but "Diversity too!
Antioch P.D has a unwillingness to properly investigate and discipline their own.

Its only when their force is faced with embrassment and civil suits do they try to mask their internal problems by shinning all there problems on Section 8 and Antiochs crime issue.

I question what does Antioch P.D in California do when their own engage in criminal activities on and off duty?

When was the last time you heard of an Antioch P.D Officer in California being termrminated/fired "pubicly"?
