Three Arrested, 1,200 Pot Plants Seized from Stockton Warehouse

Antioch police said they have arrested three Brentwood men accused of operating a sophisticated marijuana growing operation out of a Stockton warehouse.

Usually stories like these say how much street value the drugs are worth but this story left that out. I wonder why ...

At one point Stockton was the murder capitol of the U.S. I'm not sure if it still is, but scary to think nonetheless. Boredom maybe?

Well...this pot bust, then the delightful bust of Keith Fletcher, the dude who sucks people dry at his shop, Force Fed Performance, and his supposed "medically legal" 500 pot plant growning operation with a value of $1 million..so for 1200 plants the value should be double that.
Half the public says Pot is not a drug and why bother...the other half says, it is a crime and they have to be punished..but would you want traffic at your house, from druggies buying from these secret growers? Do you want the addicts trying to steal from you to buy from them? Drugs is a big problem in the valley and Sacramento, and pot is a stepping block to other drugs...Neighbors have the right to be aware of what is going on in their neighborhood. Nowadays we have to watch out because there are not enough police to go around...I hope Flecther rots in federal prison and I hppe all the Elk Grove growers recently busted and now these fools enjoy prison as well...they are all scumbags, trying to make a dollar the easy way...by preying on addicts.

Marijuana is not a "stepping block" to other drugs. Have you forgotten about alcohol and tobacco? Everyone tries those before they try marijuana. The war on drugs is unwinnable and a waste of taxpayer's money. If you truly are a truthseeker go to www.norml.org and seek the truth about marijuana.

Its my opinion...and I agree it is unwinnable...however, it is still my opinion, my viewpoint about Marijuana..Tobacco and Alcohol are not illegal for people over 21...I was and am addressing ILLEGAL drugs only...Different soap box about the other two...

You are naive and ignoring the fact that many companies exploit the addictive potential of their products. Starbucks, for example, stays in business on the notion that people need their caffeine fix for the day, while tobacco companies continue to sell products that contain a known addictive chemical, nicotine. You say it is your opinion and that you are addressing illegal drugs only, but your opinion is wrong and you need to do a little bit of your own research and determine if these drugs should indeed be illegal. Marijuana has a higher LD50 than alcohol or tobacco, which means that alcohol and tobacco are far more dangerous drugs than cannabis. I say you pull the stick out of your ass, smoke a spliff, and lighten up.
