These individuals and the others who share in the sickening acts that shape the constant 'all-inclusive' Sex Offender title. I came across a very sad story involving the brutal rape and murder of a Tacoma child 20 years ago to date yesterday. I do not profess this person is such a person as the man whom committed the aforementioned act, yet the increasing concern within communities especially small communities; contributes to a serious misconception that ALL and ANY Sex Offender classifications are not conditional or circumstance specific.

Having read the article contained in the KitsapSun has enlightened me to the reasoning(s) behind the misleads, untruths and black-balling I've encountered due to having been convicted of a Sex Offense. Due to incorrect and obscure detailing via Sheriff, DOC and other agencies, people in the community have no idea that I was a minor at the time the offense occurred in my home where I lived with my parents. Communities aren't privy to the details that my offense occurred in 1993 and the State of Iowa waited nearly 3 years to bring trial. Nor is it revealed that I have volunteered and been required to submit to polygraph (lie-detector) tests, psycho-analytical, and other testing to be concluded as not being a risk. And most certainly not being a risk to children. I have a son who will turn 14 in June and a step-daughter who is 14. I, family, friends and associates who know the specifics and TRUTHS associated with my case cry silently and aloud when such incidents as this topic and the innocent Tacoma child are revealed.

I say if the time and resources are utilized for the tracking, monitoring and prosecution of TRUE Sexual Deviants persists as they should; so true it is that there be allocation(s) of resources to FULLY, TRUTHFULLY and completely disclose to the public the entire facts associated with someone blanketed by the 'all-inclusive' Sex Offender title.

If not for cheap labor, hire me. I love writing and have completed, edited, reviewed and created Sex Offender Treatment, programs and components within the Iowa DOC. Most importantly, I will submit the TRUTH to the deserving public and communities.
