Go to H*LL!!!! For the record, a**hole, this sweet girl that died, that's D.I.E.D. dead, gone, her life is over, had proudly overcome her addiction for the first time in approx. eight years and had eight months clean. She had recently and unfortunately reunited with her ex and of course relapsed. That is the sad truth that makes this incident for us, even sadder. But the girl had finally after eight years found recovery and not even a month after her slip up dies because when you enter Kitsap County Jail (or any institution for that matter) they dont see you as a human being. Any facility should at least monitor your blood pressure when you are withdraweling. Instead, Kitsap County Jail throws you in the hole, where they put people who misbehave and get into fights, with the crudest officers. And no medical staff monitors you. You have an intercom button that you dare not push. Thats it. If you tell them you need medical, they tell you to quit hitting the button. I was in jail once at a very young age, after 45 days i still hadnt seen medical for my issue that i sent numerous kites out for. But my main point....this woman once was a normal person, someones daughter, maybe you have kids? She went downt the wrong path and got sucked into addiction. She was a human being just like anyone else. And she was a fricken amazing person with one of the biggest hearts ive ever known! All she ever wanted was to have a normal happy life but wen she has no where to live, sober, and no one to turn to, working a respectable job, but no roof at night, is giving it everything shes got, what the hell do you expect her to do!!!!!!!!!!

Guess you don't know any "druggies". Your lucky because let me tell you its heart breaking. So many family's have to deal with the hell that their addicted love one puts them through. Family's that are good, hard working people that love and have tried hard to help that loved one. Sometimes your lucky and they recover and sometimes they die. How can you be so cold and say such horrible things? Don't you realize that people loved that young women and how hurtful it is for them to read comments that are so hateful? Someday something devastating my happen to you or someone you love and your nasty comments will come back to haunt you. I think you must be young and have not had a chance to see some of the things life can throw at you. Or maybe you have had to many bad things thrown at you. Either way it's not helpful to you or anyone to be so harsh in your judgement's of others.

I wish people would take responsibility for their own actions. She was a drug addict who died. That's too bad, really, but if she valued herself and/or family and friends, she could have cleaned herself up if she wanted to. We all have choices, she chose to do drugs... and paid the price with her life. It is nobody else's fault but her own.

If nothing else, people should learn a lesson here. We are all too busy expending our efforts trying to help people who REFUSE to help themselves! I am sick and tired of paying for other peoples mistakes: welfare, unemployment, illegal immigrants, etc., and have it wasted on lazy, fraudulent, and/or criminal types that use and totally abuse our system. Frankly, I'm disgusted by it, and fed up with listening to whiney-ass people do nothing but complain about everything yet do nothing to fix the problem. They're all too busy being "politically correct", so EVERYONE has to suffer. Bullsh*t. I'm not going to take it anymore. You screw up, YOU need to suffer the consequences! Stop blaming others (and making everyone else pay) for your own mistakes.

Truth is Eric, the jail treats the inmates as sub human. Pray that circumstances do not lead you to one. If it ever does, you will understand that this girl was murdered by the system.

No you are wrong. This adult woman was not murdered by the system. If anything she was murdered by her own lifestyle. Furthermore inmates are there for a reason, they broke some sort of law or they would not be there. She should have went to rehab instead of breaking laws and this may not have happened. How come you people cannot see she was the source of her own demise?

No all of you have it wrong. A person is innocent until proven guilty by a jury. A jail is a place to hold people until trial. They tried to kill me medically three times to prevent me from going to trial. A decade later I've had a stroke and heart attacks from their abuse

It's a murdering hell hole. God help you if you need medication and are innocent

Russ Hague kills people in that jail. W need a FBI investigation. NOW

We all know that jail is supposed to be better than a nice sunny day spent in Point Defiance Park doing all the things the park has to offer.........NOT!!!!!!. We all know in recent events that ALL police departments are the ones beneath sub human a complete abuse of power. The point is DON'T BREAK THE LAW and people wouldn't go to jail. People die for reasons we sometimes don't understand but we definitely know from the posts that she was drug free at one point then apparently she got hooked up with her loser ex and it just proves she didn't like the sober lifestyle. Too bad so sad shes gone, look at it this way she is no longer bound to drugs or that loser.

WOW....i think you all need prayers. It's a real hateful world we live in. I've never been to jail and I am in recovery going on 10 years now.... This is sad no matter what the circumstances... Tho wish someone dead is a real hateful act. This could be any of us or our loved ones. Jails are not pretty and neither is being addicted. This world needs a little more love and compassion and a little less hate and judgment..... One day at a time.
