I am going to order some patches for my Father, a World War II Veteran who lives in Starr, Ohio. He told me he heard about your patch while shopping. I told him I would try to find where we could buy it.
He has been suffering from a painful shoulder for several months. It sounds like a motor cuff tear to me, but I am no doctor. A doctor examined the shoulder and said he would get back with him. The doctor has not contacted my Father. Dad will not call him because he does not want to be a "pest"; he said the doctor probably had more serious things to attend to.
My Dad served in the CCC's when he was just a young teenager; and after that term of service, he went into the Army to help the World War II effort. He was involved with the War until the end and saw some terrible suffering. He wouldn't discuss the War until he was in his mid 70's. Talking about his experience was just too painful.
I surely hope your patch will help my Dad who has worked hard all of his life, successfully rearing five happy children. I just called, but the office was not opened--I guess it is after 8:00 p.m. I will call you tomorrow to order some patches for my Dad. I hope your patches are all they appear to be from my reading.
