i really hate it for the family..but maybe the police that gave her the money to do it will think better next time...next time they'll give someone a gun, a badge, and a pension. next time they'll do their own job.

I sat through this whole trial and really didn't have an opinion on the matter. I was there for moral support for a friend. There is no way after hearing the evidence that I believe Britton McPherson killed her. Tommy Bruce was seen outside of the courtroom talking to a juror and it was brought up in the courtroom. All the evidence was circumstancial and there were witnesses who Tammy Parker told that she and Keith Pressley did it. The jury was out forever and people on it also had belief that he was an innocent man, a fall guy.

So some members of the jury, "had belief that he was an innocent man, a fall guy."
REALLY! SERIOUSLY!!!! REALLY!!!!!
If this is true (which it is not) please tell the proper authorities so that they can investigate this and have a retrial.
Of course you will have to give them your name and the name of the make-belive jurors, so this will never happen.

Having served on a jury several times in my life, I can tell you that no prudent person (either the jurist nor a fellow jurist)would vote "guilty" in a case such as this unless they believed the evidence showed that guilt beyone a reasonable doubt. A single member of the jury could have changed this verdict even if the other eleven felt otherwise. Your opinion was "biased" because you knew the "players" in this crime while jurists do not.

Thank you!!!!!! I believe wholeheartedly that our justice system works most of the time in these cases and most definitely worked this time. The only thing that Britton McPherson can do to somewhat show that he has remorse for what he did is to tell the whole truth about this situation. That is----tell who is really responsible for this crime. Tell who it was that paid him to do it.
That is the only thing that will keep him from spending the rest of his life in prison.

Look, it isn't against the law to talk to a juror, as long as it isn't about the case. I'm sure, since it was brought up in the court room, the judge handled it properly. As far as Briton being innocent, I believe he got exactly what he deserved. He was a coward who wouldn't even let her see his face before he pulled the trigger. I hope his family misses him as much as Lora's family, although she had her faults, misses her.

I hate to hear about any of this...honestly i feel that the cops shouldnt set people up to bust anyone..they need to get off their lazy asses and do it theirselve! I feel deeply sorry for Lora's family but honestly she got what she deserved. You can expect to sell buy drugs in muhlenberg county then turn it into the cops and not get hurt(RAT)she was trying to get people introuble when she did the stupid shit herself...I think we can actually blame the cops on this one! Instead of getting other people to do their job they should do it theirselves and it wouldnt come down to this!!!

So, Central City Resident, you're telling me that she deserved to get the back of her head blown off because she turned a drug dealer in? That's just messed up. That's like saying someone should get their head blown off for testifying against someone. I'm not saying Lora was a good person, because, believe me, I knew her well and she was not but nobody, unless you are a child molester or wife beater deserves to die the way she did. And to be left there for days. That's just fucked up to say. She had two children, so they deserved to lose her because she made a mistake? Really?

Anyone who says that Lora got what she deserved needs to have someone in their family brutally murdered. No one! and I will repeat--NO ONE deserves this. She made some mistakes and had a bad drug problem but maybe she would have overcome that and been a great grandmother some day. We will never know because Britton took that chance away from her. He is the one who is "getting what he deserves" by spending the rest of his life in prison. At least he will get to hear his kids' voices again and if he has grandchildren one day he will get to see them. No one has the right to judge another person. Your time would be better spent judging yourselves, recognizing your own faults and try to be a better person.

sounds like you know alot about them you must have been right in there with them you piece of shit. Britton is love by many people. You obviously don't know him. Regardless of what you do, adopted or not, your parents are always suppose to be there for you. Britton had no family of his own but he has family to turn to people who love him. His children love him and don't feel like he's a piece of shit. You need to watch what you say. He has children who might see this. Would you want yours to see things like this about you. Karma is a bitch.
