<quoted text>I would like to tell you that there are some good memories in that old school building that you are putting down just because its old. I dont think you have a lot of room to come in this town and talk down about it because a lot of people went to this school. I have lived in this town for years and some good teachers were helping me and i am thankful for them. you need to go back to the town you came from and build your own school the way you like it and leave us alone. oh and by the way, take excuse me with you.
People like you who want to hold on to old relics instead if moving into the future are the reason rural counties are looked down upon as being "backwards"

Lets just talk about this now. say you went to bremen for 12 years, so you didnt have any truble with bullies. Well that tells me one thing, that you were a bully your self. Hypocrite!
Such interesting logic... Or lack thereof to say that everyone who wasn't bullied is a bully.. Moron THAT is why you didn't finish school. You Are a MORON

<quoted text>Oh!! dont make me laugh! your the one from the rural area probly near chicago and had to come down here to try to blend end this part of the country because they couldnt stand the smell of you and your hobo family working street corners all the time. as far as mines, this is coal mining country around here pal incase you didnt know over half of the county works in mining so id watch what i say if i were you. you choose to come here from your big city life so you dont have anyone to blame but yourself so you made your bed now you can sleep in it!
Nope no where near Chicago, half the county doesn't work at all. I have family who has retired from the mines. So if I talk bad about the mines are you gonna beat me up? And the COUNTY (not country you idiot) is NOT a coal mine county anymore that is why the county is going down the drain. Too many people like you refuse to see that and bring in fresh industry. When I came to methenberg county I didnt do so by choice my family moved there because it was cheaper to retire near their family. The choice I DID make as have most people who don't live off their parents or welfare is to LEAVE the county for a more civilized area.. Btw idiot Chicago would be called urban not rural.. Even a dumb redneck dropout should know that because 10 year olds in the city do.

Are you really sure about that? If that is true then whats with all the mining equipment and mine shaft out on buttermilk road on the west side of town? More than likely strip mining under the whole town of bremen.I dont think you got a clue as to what you are talking about Moron!

First off moron strip mining is surface mining so it wouldn't be under Bremen.

Will it be finished by the first of school? Or will it be like south elementary?

At least they still have a building to attend in. The students from lake malone elementary had to attend in the old HKHS building until it was finished. What a step down for them until the South Elementary was finished.

Well I doubt if Bremen would have got a new school if it wasn't for former board member Alan Tucker. Then the people here reward him by voting him out of office and replace him with a power hungry ego butt by the name of Richey. Whow. We sure know how to show our appreciation down here.

<quoted text>so you think that by building a new school building is going to improve education? I went to this same school in the 80's and the most improvement would be to get rid of the negligent highschool teachers and if i might add "bullys". That is the reasons that i did'nt graduate. so i had to go to another school that had a little more civilized environment. If you had growed up in this town, you would know what im talking about.
Wow. It is (waste, not wast),(school, not scool),(those are the reasons, not that is the reasons),(grew, not growed),(bullies, not bullys). I think you surely made all these grammatical errors to bring attention to your post.

The school was so out dated, the state was going to close it. So the fact that it is still open is a plus. The fact that it will be the newest school in the region is another. It is good for the local economy to have an elementary school located in the town. If this school had not been built, it would have been closed like the ones in Graham and Lake Malone. Unfortunately, some of the posters here would benefit from a fifth-grade education. Did you get ur edumacation from profisser jethro bodine?

I think Richey has done an excellent job of voting against the school board members wanting to spend unnecessary money on wasteful things at the high schools. However, as long as we have the 3 members who are willing to spend money on anything, it will not change. I no first hand that Bremen was in need of a new building. However, it was a shame to close Lake Malone. It wasn't that old at all guess they didnt have the money or the board members to vote not to close it.

What's Richey voted on that saved money? I agree Bremen needed a school but Tucker deserves credit for making it happen. And didn't lake Malone have like 100 students? The state probably made them do that when they built south elem. We got a lot of nice schools and my taxes haven't changed so I'm glad students over the whole county have benefitted. I guess we can question decisions made by the old board but overall the county is better off. Imo

As far as lake malone, there might have been about 100 students. Sounds about right to me. However, the old Sacramento school, that smelled like a rest home,(urine) has about that many students also. However, state was going to give them money to close the building, which needed to be torn down. Rumor has it Gatton and a few others got enough money together to keep it open. I know for a fact that building would have been easier to tear down and start from scratch build back. my point is, too bad that a few rich dudes didnt get enough money together to keep up a much newer building that Sac. As far as Richey, he voted against the football stadium, which in my opinion, was not needed. However the 3 yes men once again voted to keep it open. So just maybe we will have so great player who will get a scholarship and play pro until his knees give out. lmao
