Ammunition is now 6 months on backorder. There have been enough gun sales in the U.S. the last two months to supply the entire Chinese and Indian armies. Thanks Obama for making gun sales go through the roof!

All the sheeple believing that DA GUMMINT GONE TAKE MAH GUNZ OMG SEKKUND UHMENDMUNT THINK OF DA CHEEEEELLLLDRRRUUUUNNNNN!!! People, the President can't make law -- only Congress can do that.

In other words, Obama proposes, Congress disposes. And with the way this Do-Nothing Congress has been, nothing Obama proposes will become law.

So y'all all need to cool your jets.

One has nothing to do with the other. Try to be logical and reasonable, if you have the mental ability to do so.

Somehow, I don't think you do.

No, I am not worried for two reasons, one Obama can do little as you said, two I have enough ammo and weaponry to last a long time.

I just think it is ironic that while Obama goes on about guns with little kids all around him, gun and ammo sales are through the roof.

My comment wasn't pointed at you, I know you saw the irony in the situation. It's directed towards all the idiots who are buying up guns and ammo like the sheeple they are, a knee-jerk reaction to the scare tactics of the gun-nut lobby.

back to the original subject; u.s. citizens should be able to own any type of firearm-weapon they want, and as many of them as they want, up-to-and-including fully automatic weapons.
the right to own and bear arms is as old as out country.

firearms and weapons are NOT the issue.

violence is a human behavioral condition.

the proliferation and accelarationm of violence (whether against one person or many) is NOT a weapons issue....it's a 'SOCIETAL' and 'BEHAVIORAL' issue.

if a lunatic wants to walk into a school or public building with the intent to kill, i should think they'd give 2nd thought to that knowing that if every teacher or school employee, or every adult in a business had the right to own AND BEAR (walk around with) AND USE a gun, they'd get killed QUICKER than today becuase someone would stop them before MORE CARNAGE could be inflicted.

just think, if U.S. Citizens had the right to bear arms on an airplane, one must wonder how much death and mourning and destruction of survivors lives could have been averted?

if teachers at newtown hall had had dguns, that lunatic could never have made it too far into the building after the 1st shot or 2.

unfotunatley, in such an instance, some lives would be lost until someone recognized what was happening....but maybe not 26 lives lost!

in fact, i think the u.s. should ISSUE weapons to every u.s. citizen that wants them.

This is for Johnny and anyone else who thinks guns are a problem. Guns can not do anything without someone controlling them. The people are the ones you need to worry about, but if they can not get a gun guess what genius, they will find something else to use. Look at the facts instead of jumping on the band wagon of saying guns are bad. You say we are the ones who are uneducated but if you look at the facts it looks to me like you are the one who is uneducated but you always have idiots trying to get something stirred up.

im not stirring anything up, I
Just gave my opinion, like I have said before, I do
Not support assault rifles and high capacity magazines, I wrote both of our senators the other day and suggested that if people have got to
Have these items, maybe put a tax on them
So at least some good will come out of them. That way all you "Rambo"s" can still have your toys and it generate some extra income for the financial deficit.

I don give a rats ass what kind of gun it is anybody has, guns are not the problem. If someone gets a DUI do they take the ability to drive? No, because they cant. For the most part when are dumb asses going to realize that criminals do not give a shit about any laws. If they are going to do something bad they dont care about the law that is supposed to stop them they are going to find a way to do it. People like little Johnny is part of the reason I think this country is going to hell. 1 Shot will kill just as good as 30 will. This is just what I think.

Um, actually, if you're a DUI repeat offender, your license can be revoked or suspended. Of course, that doesn't keep you from getting behind the wheel without a license, but if you're caught, you can get jail time.

And sure, 1 shot will kill just as well as 30, but 1 shot will kill just one person; 30 could conceivably kill 30.

If guns kill people? Then pick up hank Aaron bat and see if you can swing for the fence. It is society and today's lack of morals. Not guns. You take away guns you take away protection from our government. In a catastrophic event most government agencies have the right to disarm us.

in a catastrophic event they should be able to disarm people, I'f not we would have a bunch of untrained idiots running around trying to "Take control" with their AR15"s, and back to "protection from the government" do you really think 30 rounds and a AR15 will stop them?

so your gonna call me names because of a statement I made? The majority of America will agree with me, and you will see more and more gun control legislation. People like you call me names and pitch a fit when you hear something you don't like, but people like you are getting fewer and fewer. Wonder why? Could it be that the majority of this country has moved away from the " cowboy" days and decided there is more important issues at hand?

So in the case of a catatrophic event should the government be able to halt "free speech"? Sorry slick, but the government cannot and will not away any of my rights.
