I found out a little about this from another forum site and was wondering if anyone knew the details. It seems that there must not be very much to it or that its being covered up because I cant find it on any web search or news papers.

Heard it happened at the house of one of their wrestlers,Kieffer Cowart. Supposedly the police where called by the Cheer Coach and as a result a couple of the cheerleaders were let go. It was said that several "star" football players were there including the sophmore running back POO POO or DOO DOO, something like that. Heard it happened Halloween night and their were alcohol and pot involved. I think this is the kid whose sister married the boy from Gordon Lee (Taylor Pace) who is still in school. Weird deal.

You have to wonder how many will actually see any kind of school discipline until AFTER the Bremen vs Bowdon game this Friday?

From what I understand Keiffer's sister which is the twin of the one who's married to the high schooler dates a bremen wrestling guy. Wonder if he was there or any other Bremen kids.

It really is sickening how many parents allow, not only their own teens to drink, with thinking like,"Oh they're gonna do it anyway, I'd rather it be at home so I can keep any eye on them", that's so stupid, like home is the ONLY place they will drink since the parents do give them permission, but then allow other people's children to drink at their home as well. People are not interested in being parents anymore. I guess it's too hard to make some rules and actually enforce them,I don't know. They'd rather be friends and/or drinking buddies to their kids. And you can bet your tail this goes on in Bremen as well on a regular basis. Parents need to be PARENTS!

Well to say the most i agree with you BEAPARENT but NOT all of what johnnyonthespot said is true. Yes there was a party and some kids were arrested but im not going to say their names. But none of the football players or cheerleaders where arrested or charged!!! Also the cheerleaders were not kicked off the squad they simply quit because prior problems with the coach. johnnyonthespot please just consider other people before you write things on sites that will start false accusations.

I agree, BEAPARENT. Parents seem to forget the legal drinking age is 21. Then these parents act so distraught and just don't know what to do when their kids get into trouble. Not everyone should be allowed to multiply!

You all are just making both towns look bad. People make mistakes, that's life. Hopefully after this game is over tomorrow night that people finally let go of it.
You all don't even have a clue of what really went on. All you know is what you heard from the mouths of others.
This family are good people, most BREMEN and BOWDON people alike will agree. So before you judge them, make sure your own hands are clean.
It was just some high school kids having trying to have some fun.
God Bless.

the start of this thread started out as i heard from another forum about so and so... is that what people do these days, get on the internet and bash there own town, other towns, families, and kids? some people know the family that everyone is talking about, but the majority doesnt. and for the people that do know them and are still talking bad about them, something is wrong there. i know them and think they are great people and so what if a kid that just turned 18 two or three days before halloween wanted to have a lil gathering to dress up and celebrate halloween and his birthday, its what teenagers do, and for all the parents that think there kids are goodie too shoes, haha thats funny. where u perfect in high school? dont u think they are going to be doing the same things you as a parents were doing while in your teens? these ppl would do anything u asked of them at any time of the day, and for the people that dont know them and are talking shit, get a life. is this the best thing u have to do? get on a website to talk about other people towns familys etc.. come on now, lets be civilized, and yes i may be a little hypocritical because i am posting on here, but the fact is im not making degrading comments about stuff i dont know about, i am simply taking up for friends and trying to make it a little less embarrassing to live in a drama filled town of Bremen, as well goes with bowdon, its embarrassing not only for you but for the people that live in these towns to have to hear or read about ignorant people talking about stuff they do not have a clue about or people they do not have a clue about,
thanks and may all this end, its only making both towns look bad, and for the people talking about girl getting married while her husband is still in high school, do u know them? do u know how they are doing? ask ur self if u have the right to judge them just because they got married young, u dont have to be a certain age to be married and successful. please let all this end have a great weekend and may this all be settled after a good clean in jury free game this friday night in bowdon.
thanks and god bless

The father is an insecure dork who didnt have many friends in his youth so he's trying to make up for it now that he's in his 50's. No class at all. He denied having booze in the house, meanwhile PD sees kids dragging coolers down the hall. There is no defense for that. Try and defend him... You're just as bad as he is.

first off, do u know this man? i doubt it. and second, the coolers were never in the living room, that is a complete lie. i was there, so i know. the coolers where in my room, and my little brother stole the beer from my cooler. it was halloween and i was gettin ready to go to another party. only two kids that got arrest, were actually drinkin at the house. all the others kids got it from somewhere else. just cause my little brother takes beer from me, and other kids that come to his party drinkin, that werent invited may i add, doesnt mean that we r bad people. and it definitely has nothing to do with my father. he knew nothin of them drinkin. so try gettin ur facts straight before u go passing judgement on people u dont know. and how about getting a life instead of worrying about a bunch of high schoolers.

Let me tell you a little story, there, honey. My sister was a 24 year old RN who worked 3-11 at Cobb hospital. She was driving home one night after she got off work and was hit by a teenage drunk driver who had been at the 'party house' in paulding county, you know..the house with the 'COOL' parents who let teens drink. Notice i said she WAS, she died in that accident. And since you want to talk about cleaning up my home, my kids are still drinking out of a sippy-cup and capri suns, but I can guarantee you that when they are teens, they probably will get into their fair share of trouble, but it won't be because her parents ALLOWED her to drink alcohol. There really is no defense to allowing teens drink under your supervision. I'm sorry, none at all.

For starters Curious, those kids were NOT ALLOWED to drink alcohol, the father had no idea the kids were drinking, and actually made it clear that there was to be no drinking at the party. The kids stole the beer from an older brother. And I am sorry about your sister, but that doesn't give you the right to point fingers when you don't know what you are even talking about. And most of the kids showed up drinking, and that father was NOT going to let teenagers leave his home after they had been drinking. He took the blame for teenagers being teenagers. And people can say whatever they want but we know what happened and the father should not have been charged.
And the whole shouldn't be able to multiply thing, those parents are GREAT people and would do anything for their kids and loved ones. And you just wished away 10+ lives..

I would never "wish away" even one life and I don't know this family. I was just commenting on a subject that is very near to my heart and hurtful for me to read. Whatever happened, I hope that parents who do read this thread, who have allowed drinking go on in their midst will take a minute and ponder the worst consequences, which is not getting arrested, it's losing a life.

Ok, I understand kids may have shown up at the house drunk, but why didn't an ADULT take them home and let their parents handle them? As for "stealing" the beer, anyone with a semi functional brain knows that if you're going to have a party where there are kids you shouldn't have alcohol anywhere. That's just common sense!!

And before you start in on me, no, I never drank underage. So I absolutely have a right to say ALL of this.

There's work to be done. Even though it might seem overwhelming, there's a lot to be gained from doing Level One, or routine physical tasks. When your body is preoccupied and very little mental input is required, your mind is free to roam. Do one thing at a time, and you're assured of complete success in all your projects and undertakings today. Your health is not as good as it could be, at the moment. Consider a cleansing diet.
