Friends shocked at arrest of Troy Tyo's ex-wife

Brenda Page says she knew her as Dena "Winky" Ormun during the 12 years they were together in the Gobles Schools.

Since the Police had her on their radar screen from the beginning when the Ex

I think her friends have blinders on. This women was so selfish she couldn't share her children with their father so she had him taken out. Just makes me sick to my stomach.

I am divorced with two children from my previous marriage. My ex and I had a lot a bad blood between us, but the kids have always come first. I would never ever even think of doing this to him.

This woman(Brenda) and everyone like her are right Winky didn't kill anyone. She probably never even saw the truck, the blood(except for what was on Kris), or the body. Just like a crime boss doesn't usually kill anyone. They conspire, coerce, convince. This is why they have dumb henchmen. It's no accident that it all falls on Kris and his family. I'm just surprised she didn't call the cops on Kris once she had the deed done.

However, she is probably in denial, as are all the people who knew Winky and her co-horts. I know from experience that it is difficult to accept when someone close to you does something horrendous that you never expected of them.

She must have been good at lying, manipuliating and being selfish back in school, and all those her claim she was the nicest person you could meet, and didn't have a mean bone in her body were just as in the dark about the real Dena as the friends she had while married to Troy. It's sad that her selfishness has left her children without a father. A true tradegy that Troy had to be the victim of her selfishness, lies and manipulation. Troy you will be missed! The families aren't at fault, all those involved were adults, they have all been raised to know right from wrong, it just goes to show that people can really being something other than what they portray!

Winky confessed Sunday to having Kris kill Troy, what more proof do you need that people change all the time, and not always for the better. Now Boo and Britt will have neither parent. I'd like to visit the planet this Brenda Page person lives on. How naive can you be? Thankfully,no one has to "convince her of anything". It's pretty obvious that this ex-wife and her husband did it. Why cant people understand that unless you are with a person every single minute of every single day, that you can never be 100% sure of what 'type' of person they are in private? With news reports out every day talking about something horrible someone has done.. seemingly normal, nice people who do a horrible thing(s)...dont you realize that 'anyone' can be a bad person?

Do you hnestly think that the only people who do bad things have some sort of special mark or something, telling the world they are a bad person? NO! Bad people have friends, have families, have jobs and appear to have morals. MAss murderers, serial rapists- you can bet they all have people who are naive and would stand up and say 'no! they would never do something like THAT!'

Funny how it plays out when the person CONFESSES. Oh wait- then it was probably coerced...becaues after all, my friend would NEVER commit a crime.

To be in disbelief is one thing, to have fond memories is another, but to totally disregard

Since Dena's husband had stab wounds sure his blood was at the scene of the dumpster, and that is why the police knew where to go. There was no hesitation on their part, and find the remarks from Kris's brother in law very strange.

He might not have been at the actual scene, but might have had something to do with getting rid of the truck and body.

Just watched and read what WOODTV had...kind of struck me that Winky had back surgery in 2005, and quit her job at Perrigo. Divorced in 2006, and now is charged with murder.

Where has she been working since she quit her job?
Did she get remarried right away?

could Troy had insurance policies for the girls? Know they would get SS, if something happened. Without custody she also did not get child support.

Was this also part of the plot? Would Winky get money if Troy was gone?

Also found it ironic that she is volunteering at school, while her husband is killing the father of her children.
