U guys have no idea what went down, you're so quick to place judgement on something or someone without knowing what happened, because you weren't there! And I know you all have friends of a friend who saw something that wasn't reported, so I can't wait for these responses.
Neither do you that is why we want the truth. What is being told right now does not add up with the evidence. If you would have been at that wrecking yard and looked at how many bullets went into that truck and if you knew that Mike was shot in the head behind his right ear from the passenger side even though the police that were there state he was 1. pointing a gun at them 2. he attempted to reach for the weapon 3. they saw the butt and the scope of the weapon you wouldn't be trying to cut us all down. All three of those statements have been told from the police. Lets get it right barney and tell the truth! The reason that nothing has been reported is because the BPD refused to talk to one witness and the others were threatened. Now it is in the hands of the Texas Rangers. Take that to the bank and get off of this forum! JUSTICE FOR MIKE!!!

did they send a crime scene detective to the scene? did they take photos at the scene before anything had been touched? i know they have crime detectives in abilene, if they can send a swat team, i'm sure they could have sent a detective. how will anyone ever get to the truth without a true investigator there? also i please e-mail abc news, cbs news, nbc news, gretta van sustern at fox news. maybe, americas most wanted or john walsh?

heck no I wasn't there, but I'm also not the one making accusations. You guys are so quick to convict a cop making a life and death decision in a matter of seconds, and none of you, including me, know what happened.

in lieu of floweres the family is asking for monetary donations to help off set the cost of retaining an attorney to ensure that investigations surrounding the circumstances of MIke's death are followed through with in addition to providing some financial stability to his children.

Anyone wisheing to make a donation can do so through: The citizens national bank-breckenridge

I say amen, to this statement made by Mr. Jackson. IF there are guilty parties I hope they nail them to the wall. I also pray that if all parties are found not guilty that all parties can mourn the loss of a great man but refrain from placing the blame on others.

You know, every day we sit here on this forum and continue to battle back and forth with the idiots that are from who knows where. The fact of the matter is that no matter what we say or how many times we try to convince them otherwise, they will continue. The only truth to all of this so far is that we all know who Mike was and what kind of person this man was... so we, in our hearts, know that it didn't happen the way they are saying.
Through all of this, I've learned something... I don't care how tough you think you are, when it comes to things that happen just in everyday life, you cannot do it without God in your heart. You might make it through day after day for years, but eventually, it's going to catch up to you. The sad part is that most don't even realize what's happening to them.
As hard and exhausting as all this has been on all of the family and friends, when you feel like you don't know if you can make it another step without breaking down, just do one small thing... take a look up, close your eyes, and say a short prayer. And somehow, no matter how bad it is, God is always going to be there for you.
As much as I hate to say it, this battle has just begun. And the end doesn't seem to be anywhere in the near future right now. Just know that at any time of the day or night, there is always going to be that one person that you can call and talk to. That one person that's going to remind you of what we are all doing this for. It's amazing to me how such a tragic event has drawn so many people together.
So with that being said, I'm going to end it with this... I know that this weekend is going to hurt. But we have to remember that God is going to help us through every step of the way. So hug the person next to you, cry on their shoulder, and just give them that friendly reminder that God is in control.

to U guys are idiots:

Are we idiots for wanting to find out the truth? There are many things that just don't add up. Unless you have been by the house where it happened and by the wrecking yard to see the truck, and know where Mike was shot and where the officers were standing, it just doesn't make sense. And to the comment that your not making accusations, calling us ALL idiots for demanding the truth, is an accusation that you know nothing about. JUSTICE FOR MIKE!!

Well said...God is and has always been in control. None of us know the future or God's plans but we have to remember that saying..."If He brings you to it He will bring you through it." God will never forsake you if you just believe.

ok now, i have 2 kids. my oldest has a 4.0 grade average and you can ask any one is well respected and highly thought of young man. my youngest 3.5 grade average and felt the same about! so i have kids and as you see there not idiots! no not every one shot by a cop is innocent! no one has said that! we are saying nothing adds up! mike was as close to being perfect as a man could be without being God himeself. he was loving, caring, God fearing, he had respect for all,he helped anyone who needed and never asked for something in return, he was an all around American man!
