Forest Service seeks public input on new pine-beetle project near Frisco

Please stop clear-cutting the forest and try managing it instead. Cut out the dead and give the susceptible pines a fighting chance. It is our fault for not managing the forest years ago, now clear-cutting due to bottom-line is both irresponsible and an over-reaction. Consult local tree care companies, such as myself, for alternative methods to this epidemic. You would feel awfully silly if the epidemic somehow disappeared and you clear-cut prematurely.
