do yall know of any PM doctors that take medicaid?
I dont think any of them take medicaid. Sorry. PP ask this question all the time on the national CPP topix site & the answer is always "none" no matter which state they are asking about. So, evidently, its not jst LA.

<quoted text>Hands! So glad you're back in touch! I have been away dealing with my own "hand-pain" and cannot begin to say how many times Ive thought of you. Numbness, pain during thenight, the whole nine yards! And, typing without feeling your fingers is another experience! Feels like typing with chopsticks! Lol, funny, but so true! The two pp I spoke with regarding yr problem hadnt heard of any troubles. They were both curious about what you were describing ; asking which physician (s) you worked under. I understand if you do not want to share this info, but if you pm me, I can only promise, my word, that I would not even reveal the site that we communicate. Please share more. There are others Im sure that are out there.
I hope everything is going well and your feeling better.

Hi everyone! Sorry its been so long for me logging in to this site. I lost it and after an extensive search now found it again. This time I added it to my tracker so I can stay in touch. To Hands, I wanted to ask if you've ever looked into thoracic outlet syndrome. Sounds very much like what you are describing here. I have learned through my own quest for a cure of some pretty significant diagnosis that some of us may have instead of just chronic pain. There is always something causing the pain. It may only be scar tissue in some cases, but usually there is an underlying issue. I think I have lumbosacral plexopathy that behaves like neoplastic lumbosacral plexopathy and mostly sacral. That's why I have trouble sitting. I find that we don't have many docs here that are interested in helping us figure out what is causing our pain. So, I am hoping through constant contact with some of you I can find the right one. Anyone have a great doctor in Lafayette or surrounding area they would recommend? I am not opposed to traveling to Baton Rouge or NOLA if necessary. Thanks for reading. Hope to hear from some of you soon.

Most chronic pain pill junkies are just that, junkies. And the pain clinics never make you better, just another zombie getting another doctor a Benzo

All of you need to leave God and Jesus Christ out of this if you have nothing but blasphemous and negative comments. First of all, Jesus had pure Faith and that is why He was able to heal. So your doubt and dependency on medication proves how ignorant you really are. God can do ANYTHING! That simple, the END.

Hi Pain Free at Last! Its so nice to hear from you! Yes, I agree, finding "Mr. Right" fr CPP's is the key! You have to be able to bond with this doctor, trust him/her with yr life , literally. I believe I saw at least 30 physcians before I found right person. Not all for pain management but all r/t my illness. Have seen only 4 or 5 that would manage my pain. Two, I only saw once, never to go back....onmoved out of state, another moved out of state & then back, however had already found new doctor. Currently the doctor managing my meds is an internist, and I am VERY happy with him!
Anyway, I hope to talk more, now off to appt. Isn't this our life, appt. after appt.? I hope you stay and help this forum stay afloat! I so appreciate yr input.
Tell all yr CPP friends...I know you have some, we tend to flock together.
I am trying to find a pain management doctor for severe autoimmune disease pain, is it possible to recommend anyone?

I suffer from cluster headaches. Kiss the ground you walk on if you don't get them. Imagine a hot knife being forced through your eye socket and straight through your brain. This happened to me for a couple hours a day atleast twice a week. No medicine worked, until I found psilocybin mushrooms. 1 small dose every 2 months keeps them away. I can't remember the last headache I've had. It's been months. Why are we banning nature while thousands die of man made medicines. Just my 2 cents.
