I suggest next time ya'll have a "tea party", get the reason straight. At the last one some people told me it was about taxes (of which Obama has not raised, and was held on tax day for the year 2008, which was just hilarious), some said it was about guns, which no one has taken away, and some said it was about the bailout (didn't Dubya do one of those too last year?). So which is it?

I suggest that this being the great well known state of La. that we call it a tea party and replace tea leaves with pot!!!!! Thats up to par for us!

Yikes you better wake up!! You will be kicking yourself for voting for him when his policies drive Louisiana to bankruptcy by destroying local oil companies!

ACADIANA TEA PARTY - FREEDOM RALLY (LAFAYETTE)

On April 15th over 2,500 concerned citizens gathered in Lafayette to express our discontent with the direction our federal government has been headed in for far too long.

And now, on July 4th, we will take the next step beyond complaining. In recognition of Independence Day, this event will be more of a patriotic celebration combined with a focus on getting informed, energized, and activated so that more and more of our fellow countrymen can join with us in reigning in our government. After all, WE, the people, are the ultimate “check and balance”!

Bring the whole family for a very unique Independence Day experience. There will be some very informative videos in the air conditioned gym. Enjoy live music playing both classic, and modern, patriotic songs on the outside stage. Watch the historical skits to re-visit the experiences of our Founding Fathers. And learn how those experiences apply to today’s situation. Bring your own refreshments, but no alcohol. Bring the kids and let them enjoy some patriotic activities just for them.
But above all, come prepared to be patriotically motivated as never before.
