I doubt this 14 year old girl was in on this murder. This case sounds like kidnapping, rape and murder by the ADULT MALE who was allegedly her boyfriend. I bet he forced her to go along with this, and she did so in fear of her life. He almost certainly told her she would be killed if she did not comply. I see this as the fault of the police and authorities. Someone should have long ago reported that this older guy was with this child. Why was this not done?

Can we get the boyfriend tried for pedophilia? Maybe let that bit of info slip out in the prison yard?
As bad as I feel for the grandparents, it is so sad that now we have a 14 yr. old girl whose life has gone to waste.

don't feel too sad for that evil slut. imagine what she would have done by the time she was 21... there'd be a string of deaths and ruined lives behind her tracks.

it is not possible to rehabilitate her. if you've seen the recent studies, character and personality are set for life by her age. if she ever gets out, there'll be another murder... and then we'll have not only to spend all the money to try her AGAIN, but also have to deal with the grief and misery she caused AGAIN.

time to throw away the key.

If I were, I'd not be commenting on this board. That would be unprofessional.

Sophia WAS a good person and then things happened to change her life. I used to be friends with her, and we talked once in a while, but we stopped talking after she met her boyfriend. People can change, and I think that he changed her for the worse, obviously. Just because our friends change, doesn't mean that we are low-life losers. We can't change what someone has done and that doesn't make the people who knew her bad people also. There are different sides to every story, and since we don't know hers, we should not be saying anything about it.

So, since there are different sides to all stories, and we rarely know all of them, we should never comment on anything, ever? Right?

Well, people can voice their opinions on things and say their condolences to the families on forums if they don't actually know the family. I don't think it should be shut down. Plus, it is a good way to find out more about the people involved if you wish.
