This should set an example to others that religious freedom means just that and not lip service.
The US has this in their Constitution, so if they made their bed they have to live with it, like other "rights" they insist upon.

So, how far are the "rights" of one person allowed to infringe those of another?
When one "right" directly contradicts another, what would suggest?

All muslim woman should be strip searched with full cavity probes before they are allowed to enter American courtrooms. Virtually ALL terrorists are muslims.

But only 0.0001 % of Muslims are terrorists.

Damn right! The next time I get arrested I will protest the removal of my 9mm automatic, as it will violate my Constitutional rights to possess and bear arms. And that goes for my bullet proof vest that is my religious shield against evil too.

She's in JAIL! There is no freedom in jail. When someone chokes her with her own headscarf she will wish she left it at home.

Hypocrite!

Who are you to speak about religious freedom when you applaud Muslim countries which suppress freedom for Christians?

She was in a holding cell overnight due to a judgemental error.
Once corrected she was released.
Check the facts.

Christians have freedom to practice their religion, so long as they don't start handing out bibles or "buying Muslims"
to convert.

When someone is in jail, they lose their freedoms. Pity that you don't understand that.

When someone commits a crime and is sent to jail, they have made their bed and they have to live with it.

You contradict yourself now.

The Christian was brought to court for sharing his religion. You do not support freedom of conscience. You support fascism, elitism.

You condemn normal freedom.

If we did that in the US, Muslims would not be allowed to wear their religious garments.

You're a hypocrite!

On the assumption that at any one time there are no more than 1000 active terrorists globally.
A freedom fighter fighting in wars against the West and defending their homeland is not a terrorist.

Not a judgemental error, contempt of court for not following her probation requirements.

It wont take long for some muslima to use her scarf to strangle someone, then this ruling will be tossed out in a hurry.

If muslims don't want to be in jail, they shouldn't break the laws.

You're a hypocrite!
You are still confused as this wearing of garments is not about converting Christians.
This person was fined for trying to convert a Muslim to Christianity in a Muslim country ruled by Sharia law.
Put simply - he broke the law, their law.
The punishment for proselytizing should have been more severe as a lesson to others.

Freedom and liberty are also about sharing your religion.

Well of course you cannot prove your accusation. Not surprised.
