Contrary to what the City "leaders" told us to sell the tax increases, the Oil Tax will reduce royalties and the Gann override is not needed.

The city manager is quoted saying they need the override so they can spend possible increased property tax revenue, after the story they originally gave of needing it to spend Fire Tax money was exposed as being untrue.

The oil tax is a royalty tax.

Contrary to what Truth Comes Out is saying, the Gann Limit is needed and the Oil Tax might affect like $4. out of a thousand, but it may not even affect that. Just some more junk put out by the town loons.
