Ron Allen still has no shame, Everything this guy does is for a pat on the back. Does he really think stealing the league scoreboard is going to get his kid playing time at the high school. It really is sad to how league property is used by the board like it is their own property. HELL he already got mad 1 day and took his scoreboard and went home, before the game was over. I thought it was all about the kids? Or is it now the kids and Ron Allen!
That scoreboard belongs to the kids. That behavior is nothing new from Ron. He's been throwing tantrums for years. If I was a parent at the game he took the board home: I would complain to the president. And if he didn't listen to the higher ups.

Its sad to see this, the president of the league and others board members gave ron the ok to use the scoreboard for the high schools games, ron and some others that most of you are trash talking built the scoreboard trailer on there own time, and have not received a red cent for doing so, step up or and help the league instead of trash talking people that work hard for the league

Hmmm, dont all the board members work their free time.
Heck, maybe we should pay coaches since they give more time then all of us. I do it for the kids, not a red cent. I wonder how many LMLL teams will have the scoreboard less games then the freshmen team does? Shouldn't the equipment manager have term limits also? Go Angels.

The school district allow the league to use their fields all over La Mirada and they work together. THe league should let the HS use the scoreboard. Youth sports and the City have a great relationship and I hope this continues. Youth sports can not get by without the schools, so why not help out the schools as well. Los Coyotes is used by soccer, baseball and basketball. High school lets basketball and sometimes football use the gym. Youth football uses the High school field and practice is sometimes at the school. I hope that the youth sports and the school district continues their relationship which is great for ALL the kids in LM. Come on people don't be so petty and share with the schools as they share with us.

I 100% agree. What I was referring to was Ron Allen taking the scoreboard away from a game in progress....because he was upset about something. That is not fair to the kids.

Wrong, the High School does not allow little league to use their fields. You are right about Football and Basketball, so use youth football or youth basketballs scoreboard. You are right, the schools have a good relationship with youth sports, the high school does not though. And the whole point is, it is not Ron's to lend out. Nobody would have a problem if the league was asked or it was someone else loaning it. Ron has just worn out his game with LL.
We dont get the fields dragged anymore either by our field manager since his son left the league. Maybe that is a good point, when your kid leaves the league, maybe you should follow?

Have fun. Please be accountable. For U. For your Son . Think about the entire league. It it easy to think about your own issues. Muy difficult. Be for the greater good.
