And you thought with the passage Proposition 30 that this would not happen, fooled again by Governor Brown and the politicians. The Proposition money will go to the schools with other monies going out the back door to fund CALSTRS (Teacher's retirement fund.) So it will be a wash or even less funding from the state. Robbing Peter to pay Paul. It's time to privatize all schools and get the government out of something that they are clueless about.

Finally a use for the district's new director of Mental Health.
The staff say she is bored and longs to return to the high school. Which would be a foolish career move...not a single bigs bucks person retired from the trenchs of a school. Though several passed through.
School closeurs should give her some stressed out kids and parents to counsel. She must have therapeutic degree...doesnt she?

The new Mental Health Director has No mental health background what so ever! Seems like the superintendent doesnt know whats best for district but she gets over $230K per year not to do whats right
