Exactly why I don't visit dog parks, any dog attacks my German Short Hair Pointer is a dead dog. I run with mine leashed so any attacking dog is either O.C. sprayed or shot....In policy.
This park won't last long with all the sue happy weaklings who will have their little wuss dogs attacked by over aggressive dogs. I'm glad La Habra does'nt take on the liability of a dog park.
Your dog may excel in chasing down Mexicans and that other dark skin colored monkey race but I highly doubt your pointer can do much damage to most pit bulls.

Besides, how much is that pointer worth if its maimed? You can put that pit to sleep, but the owner will just pickup another one at the pound. You can put the owner of the pit in jail temporarily, think it will bother him much? The end result hasn't changed. You're still a cop with a worthless partner. DUHH!!!!!

DEE DE DEE!
But why are you yelling? Are you an over aggressive cop or do you yell because you like to intimidate weaker people than yourself? Personally I think you are a liar. You are not a police officer. Your posts sound just as juvenile as I do right now. DUHH DUH DUHH!

wow, dog owners have a lot of hostility. I'm not as afraid of my dogs being hurt at a dog park as I am of be berated by local citizens on a blog spot talking about dogs being hurt at a dog park.

I feel really bad for anyone who has had to deal with a aggressive dog attack. I am the owner of 2 beautiful rescue pit bulls rescued from a dog fighting ring in the midwest. They are so loving to humans unfortunately someone forced these dogs to fight for their lives on a regular basis. These dogs have never bitten another dog on my watch for over 2/12 years. The negative looks and comments from people in the public over my dogs is so sad. How can someone call themselves dog lovers and not have compassion for 2 dogs that were never given a choice but to fight or die. Its just very sad

Thanks so much for the information; I have two new puppy's and they are a hand full hope a dog park will help wear them out.
As for the other comments I can understand big dogs picking on small dogs but the owners are the ones that need to work on that type of acting up and all of us need to do our best that all have a good time. Hope to visit the park soon but I'm retired and its a way for me to go but will try thanks again!
