What do we do about aggressive dogs. There is a husky name Angel that is very aggressive and has 'hounded' a few dogs everytime she is there. Last night another dog was hounded and was actually injured. The husky would not stop chasing the other dog and that started a frenzy.

Valencia and Basque in Fullerton, on the property of the Hunt Library. If you take Euclid north, make a left on Valencia and a right on Basque. Follow it around until you run into the parking lot. You can't miss it.

That sounds exactly like the husky named angel that is here in Houston. She is very vocal and loves to chase other dogs. The noises she makes sometimes scares them, but she is really harmless, she only weighs about 40lbs. She doesn't bite other dogs yet people always thing she is aggressive, she is just noisy and wants to play.

I have had aggressive dogs actually jump on my dog and pin her to the ground. What you do if a dog is really aggressive and there is a real fight going on is grab them by the back legs and pull them apart. If not the back legs then grab the tail and pull. I have used both methods and they work well. Everyone going to a dog park should know how to break up a fight.

Thats why you don't bring small dogs to the the big dog park, because they WILL get chased!

Thank you to the City of Fullerton! I wish th City of La Habra had a dog park, it would help a lot of senior citizens who are unable to walk, drive over to a fenced in area for our pooches. Perhaps someday!! Otherwise, I would love to see some park tables with the benches attached so we humans can socialize comfortablely with a newspaper, coffee, knitting while waiting for our four-legged friends to tire. Thanks again!!

Exactly why I don't visit dog parks, any dog attacks my German Short Hair Pointer is a dead dog. I run with mine leashed so any attacking dog is either O.C. sprayed or shot....In policy.
This park won't last long with all the sue happy weaklings who will have their little wuss dogs attacked by over aggressive dogs. I'm glad La Habra does'nt take on the liability of a dog park.

If you are running in La Habra with a gun I believe you are in violation of some kind of law... Well, La Habra Citizen, if you are a cop you know then that it is ILLEGAL to shoot dogs unless they are attacking a HUMAN BEING. DEE DE DEE!

I think you (Cop?) mean to say any stray unleashed dog that attacks you would be shot. If you shot my dog while it was on leash (if we were ever accidentally in close range of eachother, thankfully I don't live in LaHabra) I would SUE you and your department so fast. Just because you are a cop doesn't mean you are God or above the law. I am totally for the police department, I HATE crime and respect all laws and what you do. Animals that attack animals are acting like animals, people who attack people or animals act like animals, I prefer to act like a human. If you keep digging yourself a verbal hole soon I think you may find yourself at the bottom... Long live the Dog park, may many a happy tail wag there!
