Is this Footloose? Yes! It's Diamond Bore, the worst city to live in if your ethnic, poor, or bored. I'v tolerated this racist city for 10 years, and I really hope this city crumbles. This place is dangerous to walk out at night, not from gangs or hoodlums, but from COPS! Cops that will stop you for no reason whatsoever! Plus added to that, you have the snobs! I grew up in Cerritos and to me Diamond Bar is it's ugly twin sister. No fun, most of the establishments are run by rude Asians, and everyone here is stuck up. I *&^ing hate Diamond Bar!

If they could only ban idiots from movie theaters and malls, we could really enjoy ourselves!

DB Resident... You are a tool.

Free enterprise and property rights are what makes America great. The moment you trample on the personal or economic freedoms of others you violate our countries spirit.

Perhaps the predominantly Sino ethnic groups that comprises Diamond Bar should return to the country whose communist culture spawned them...

thats why i moved to diamond bar in the first place. no major entertainment attractions. it's a nice and quiet place except for the freeways. as for exempting churches and schools, they should be made to get permits for such activities. no big deal.

to drive to a neighboring city for a mall or movie theater is just fine with me as this keeps the riff-raff away from our area.

You talk like some young party punk who can't go out and act stupid in that city. Is that because you are 'ethnic, poor, or board' in life. If you don't like the snobs or Asians go screw around somewhere else. I can understand them not wanting your type in their city, if I lived there, I wouldn't either.

What does it say about a community when dullards make the local news?

I was appalled at this ban. We need more businesses coming to Diamond Bar, not ordinances that would make them go to other cities. How on earth has the rest of the cities in California
make it work and Diamond Bar can't??? Hurting even one business is too much. Why not fine the heck out of any offending establishments (at least get that revenue) instead of running scared. I have lived in Diamond Bar since 1976. This is a travesty.

And I take it you're not sticking around to watch the football games in the new stadium?

I can understand the city wanting to keep out high crime elements such as dancing African Americans, but just because they commit a disproportionate amount of crime does not make it right to keep them out. I guess if I had a family, I would think differently about allowing these people in close proximity to my home. I have researched crime in Diamond Bar, in the past 10 years there have been 6 murders and 9 rapes in the city. 7 of the 9 rapes and 4 of the 6 murders were commited by African Americans. This high crime stat for a city virtually devoid of African Americans is a factor in wanting to keep them out altogether. I can understand both sides, but couldn't African Americans just stay away voluntarily?

Now just sit there with your hands folded in your laps. There will be no fun allowed here. If you want to speak, you must raise your hand. There will be a lecture today on how to properly conduct yourselves while being controlled. Dissent will not be tolerated. Having fun is a state granted privilege, not a right.
