It is a shame this woman has to serve time for stealing such a small amount of money from the city. The city managers, clerks, & cops with their paychecks inflated to double and up to ten times what ordinary folks make make this look like small change. With 123 cities in LA/Orange counties I am pretty darn sure Bell and Rizzo are just the tip of the iceberg.

Don;t get me started on the obscene pensions.

She should of received the maximum sentence. Stealing is stealing, the amount doesn't make it any less of a crime or excusable.
Additional charge: STUPIDITY. To think she wouldn't get caught.
ROT in there you loser!

She won't do that much time. Her real punishment will come when she tries to get a decent job after getting out!

You do a crime, you pay the time! It doesn't matter who else is committing crimes, she got caught. In time, the others will pay for theirs too...maybe not in our courts, but in God's presence! That will be worse than any penalty the courts on earth might give them.
