Tomorrow is the big day fellow Bruins!
Go Bruins!!!
All the Pac-12 teams made me money today, unfortunately freakin' New Mexico; NC A&T; and Valpo effed me up, so between those three, and getting my ass kicked on the Blackjack tables it's been a horrible day, but I hope tomorrow my luck will change...Duke is an 18 point favorite and I feel like they can beat the spread, but not 100% sold...if I win, I will roll it over for the 11:40 game...any suggestions?

He thinks he speaks for "most people".

Most people are going to remember as much for his play on the field as the other stuff. Hilarious to read posts from someone who has admitted he can't be objective, try to claim he would know how people will remember him.

You'll love this one IE, from today's Times:

According to the UCLA men's basketball media guide, he was born in Los Angeles on Nov. 13, 1993.

But a copy of Shabazz Nagee Muhammad's birth certificate on file with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health shows that he was born at Long Beach Memorial Hospital exactly one year earlier, making him 20 years old — not 19 as widely reported.

How and when he lost a year of his life are unclear. But competing against younger, smaller athletes, particularly in the fast-growing years of early adolescence, can be "a huge edge," said Eddie Bonine, executive director of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Assn. "People naturally look at the big, strong kids."

Asked about the discrepancy, Holmes insisted his son was 19 and born in Nevada. "It must be a mistake," he said.

Several minutes later, he changed his account, saying that his son is, in fact, 20 and was born in Long Beach.

Yeah Matt, so far so good, but I do think the best conference this year is the Big Ten.

We will see how it all plays out though as some surprising upsets have already taken place from just the first day. March MADNESS!!!

He's not a murderer because you think he is, Moron.
And whatever you think, they're still making a movie about him. Infamous or not, there are lots of people who can't get enough OJ. They wouldn't be making the movie if that weren't the case.
Don't know why you are calling ME a moron about this, as I am just reflecting society and their interpretations. It doesn’t really matter what I think, it is overall public perception.

Since you want to be overly analytical about your first EX-USC poster boy (Reggie Bush became the second EX), my point was that the media for quite some time thrives off the misfortune and/or notoriety of others, it's how they make their living. To make a buck, some would sell out their mothers.

So if you are one of the lone FEW out there that does not include the talk of murder in the same sentence as O.J. Simpson (whether some says yes he did it or was proven innocent), then go right ahead and keep his poster up in your bedroom.

But maybe my diagnostic comments were not through enough for you, so I will add this addendum on general public opinion to make sure all areas are covered:

Roman Polanski – Director/Rapist/Pedophile
O.J. Simpson – Athlete/Murderer/Robber

Now no need to really even respond here TrOJan because I will no longer on this subject as I won't get in one of those 20 post pissing matches you like to do with BFL.

Besides, my main focus now is the UCLA Bruins and the NCAA Tournament. Sorry you don’t have ANY tournament (half ass or legit) that your team could even qualify for.

Oh my Mister Trojan, I guess since he is a year older, then all us Bruins out there can hold our heads high now that when Shabazzy makes his move to the pros at the end of this season, we don't have to call him a one-and-done :)

Ummm, I think I got that right ... DabNabIt, anyway, maybe Coach Benny will be as forceful as Brewski and throw his jacket at some fans again tonight ;)

No, the general public does not see him as such. The consensus was pretty much split right down the middle, 50/50.(Among blacks it was about 60/40 and among every else it was 40/60.

But because YOU consider him a murderer does not make it so.

Yes, the media gives the public what they want. Have they made a movie about one of the most prolific serial killers of all-time, Bruin Rodney Alcala? Not yet anyway. But OJ? They can't get enough. The general public just won't let him disappear into obscurity.

Good luck tonight! It's one of those games where I'm happy either way.

Mister Trojan, I have to disagree with you there. I did see a special program on one of those intellectual stations (maybe History or Discovery) about Bruin Alcala :)

In a strange way I was sort of "proud" of him when he attempted to represent himself at his various trials. But unfortunately it did not help him beat his rap :(

Maybe he should have been like Billy Walton and gone to UCLA but wisely attended USC for law school :/

Go Bruins anyway, our man Alcala can make the news too!

SIMPSON LIVED IN FLORIDA FOR MANY YEARS. I RaN ACROSS HIM A FEW TIMES WHEN HE LIVED IN KENDALL. I MUST SAY THE GUY IS AN ASSHOLE THAT CRAVES THE LIMELIGHT.
THE REASON THE PUBLIC CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF HIM IS BECAUSE OF THE SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES TO THE MURDER CASE. EVERYONE KNOWS HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONVICTED BUT HIS HOT-SHOT LAWYERS HELPED HIM BEAT THE SYSTEM.
SINCE THAT HAPPENED, THERE IS A WEIRD FASCINATION WITH THE GUY. PROBABLY WOULD BE THE SAME WITH ROBERT BLAKE IF HE CONTINUED TO ACT STUPID AND TRIED HARDER TO REMAIN IN THE PUBLIC EYE.
I CAN TELL YOU ONE THING, YOUR COPS OUT THERE ARE SOFT. OUR TROOPERS WOULD HAVE RAN HIS BRONCO OFF THE ROAD AND NAILED HIS ASS FOR ELUDING THE POLICE AND ENDANGERING THE DRIVING PUBLIC

I won't argue the asshole part. But a jury found him NG, so technically speaking, he's not a murderer. Amuses me how whiny bithces just can't seem to grasp that.

Hell, Robert Wagner probably murdered Natalie, too. But to refer to him as such is lame.

Robert Blake, Phil Spector...no one hates those guys as much as OJ and we all know they whacked women. One bimbo in the Spector case testified about him pulling a gun on her. But she kept seeing him!!

When you act like a ho and go out with assholes just because they're loaded, you may end up in an alley like a piece of trash. It isn't rocket science.
