City governments encourage people to move to new developments in their cities, yet complain about increased utility usage, especially water. New residents DO NOT bring water with them. Governments are a big part of their own problems and need to address them BEFORE issuing building permits....but then again, we get the kind of government we deserve, don't we.

To the residents who are going to be affected by this annexation I can only say "If the Diamond Bar City Council says some thing, DON'T BELIEVE IT". They were originally going to oppose the N.F.L. Stadium, but wound up selling our for 20 million dollars.

Don't be so short sided, the football stadium will create jobs & boost the local city coffers which pay for city services, maybe someday we could have our own police dept. See the big picture & not just a tunnel vision

This is very close to the proposed Shell-AERA project that would add 3600 homes to Diamond Bar and move the golf course. It seems like Diamond Bar is making a bridge into this project which Rowland Heights tried to block by trying to become a city. If only 150 residents are using Diamond Bar "services", why should Diamond Bar be entitled to grab 600 residents? Too bad Rowland Heights did not complete its mission to become a city.

nice talk, the R.H.I.A. stopped DB about 20 years ago from doing this same thing. R.H.I.A. mobilized, drew a line in the sand, and petition the residents on that line and WON! Talk is cheap, do something.
