Who's the best guitar player in town? I probably vote for Danny Holmes. Woody Atterson was a monster, RIP. I like Rick Padgett too. Mitch from Faultline is awesome, as is Barry from Juggernott. Pat Kelly was a badass back in the day too, as was Mark Auman.

And the dude from Ellusion has some sick, sick chops too. And I fergot about Jimmy Hollingsworth. There's a blues dude called Dickey James who knocked my socks off. The Chiltons & Jacksons always kick ass, like the Jackson kid from respecting Betty. JT Cornfloss is The Man though!

J.T. Corenflos is undoubtedly the best to come out of T.H., although he lives in Nashville now. Saw him this fall at a family reunion, he rocks it. Kenny Hayes used to be a bitch, don't know if he's still around. If you really want to catch a great guitarist, catch Mark (plays blues, can't think of his last name, and I've got a couple of his CDs)when he comes in town. He lives in Atlanta now. Help me out, what's his last name? Plays at Dawg House when he comes in town, played at the Sullivan Corn Fetival last fall. Plays a tricked out white Strat.

Google a guy named Michael Kelsey. He plays in the Terre Haute and nearby every so often. He is an amazing guitarist. Very unique and creative. He is a one man show.

You're right, Music Man, I've seen him 3 times now. He plays at Ivy Tech about every year. Plays a Taylor acoustic. But he's from Lafayette, this thread is about best guitar player out of Terre Haute! Nobody's mentioned Dave Kyle either.

Mark Cook, JT Cornfloss, Danny Holmes, Dave Hopkins, and Kevin Stultz from the original Mean Street band. There are some great ones from here but these are the one I liked.

Back in the 70s there was a guy from Sullivan named David Graham who was tough as hell. Unfortunately, drugs got the best of him. Now dead, big waste of talent.

... that name is a blast from the past. I had heard he could play. Sad deal for a lot of people.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Cancer

Today's Full Moon will have a powerful impact on your health during the next few months. Maybe this is the spur you need to inspire you to take better care of yourself, such as improving your diet, getting more exercise or finally consulting the doctor about something that's worrying you. It will also be the end of a chapter connected with your work, but don't fret because this ending will lead on to a new beginning.
