So your beliefs override other peoples honest beliefs?
You are the tyrant over everyones beliefs...
#328 Jan 30, 2014
No, superstition is the tyrant, it is the supreme killer of people and destroyer of freedoms which through fear and ignorance impedes moral progress the world over.
It is the unsupported beliefs which rule tyrannically over those who ignorantly cling to those lies.

This is what people devolve into when fear, faith and superstition are allowed to replace reason, accountability and evidence based knowledge.
Lies like these do nothing to advance human progress, they impede it at every step and needlessly hurt a great many innocents along the way.
Do you want to be part of the problem like this frightened gullible radical, or part of the solution on the right side of history working to advance the human condition through the advancement of empirically based human knowledge?

‘Darwin Day’: Democrat proposes House resolution to celebrate the theory of evolution
By Eric W. Dolan Thursday, January 30, 2014
"Rep. Rush Holt (D-NJ) has again re-introduced a resolution http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z... : to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin and recognize the importance of science in the betterment of humanity.
The legislation expresses support for designating February 12, 2013, as “Darwin Day,” a tradition started by the American Humanist Association.
“We’re pleased to join Rep. Holt again in support of a Congressional resolution honoring Darwin’s contributions to science and humanity,” said Roy Speckhardt, executive director of the American Humanist Association.“Too many people are being influenced by the dangerous creationism and so-called ‘intelligent design’ movements, and it’s time for others in Congress to stand up for true science.”
The resolution states that “Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution by the mechanism of natural selection, together with the monumental amount of scientific evidence he compiled to support it, provides humanity with a logical and intellectually compelling explanation for the diversity of life on Earth.”
It also says that the theory of evolution is “strongly supported by the modern understanding of the science of genetics” and that “the teaching of creationism in some public schools compromises the scientific and academic integrity of the United States education systems.”
The resolution goes on to describe Darwin as “a worthy symbol of scientific advancement on which to focus and around which to build a global celebration of science and humanity intended to promote a common bond among all of Earth’s peoples.”
The resolution honoring the English naturalist was first introduced to Congress in 2011 by former Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA), the first and only open atheist to serve in Congress. Holt reintroduced the bill in 2013."

Nasa to grow plants on the moon by 2015:'If they can thrive, we probably can too'
James Vincent Friday 29 November 2013
Nasa has announced plans to grow plants on the moon by 2015 in a project designed to further humanity’s chances of successfully colonising space.
If successful, the Lunar Plant Growth Habitat team will make history by seeding life from Earth on another celestial body for the first time, paving the way for humans to set up more permanent habitation.“If we send plants and they thrive, then we probably can,” says Nasa.
Scientists, contractors and students will work together to create a small 1kg “self-contained habitat” containing seeds and germination material to send to the moon. To get there Nasa plans to ‘hitchhike’, delivering the payload via the Moon Express lander, a commercial spacecraft enrolled in the Google Lunar X Prize.
“After landing in late 2015, water will be added to the seeds in the module and their growth will be monitored for 5-10 days and compared to Earth based controls. Seeds will include Arabidopsis, basil, and turnips,” said Nasa officials in a press release. http://www.nasa.gov/centers/ames/cct/office/c...
The difficulty for the scientists will be encouraging plant growth in the harsh environment of the moon. Partial gravity and lunar radiation will need to be accounted for, although the plants will travel with their own water reservoir and enough air for five days of growth. Cameras and sensors will monitor the plants and send data back to Earth.
Nasa has outlined the importance of completing such experiments, noting that “thriving plants are needed for life support (food, air, water) for colonists,” and that such greenery also provides “psychological comfort, as the popularity of the greenhouses in Antarctica and on the Space Station show.”
Getting the seeds to the moon will be accomplished via the help of the Moon Express lander, a spacecraft being built by the private company Moon Express
The experiment will help Nasa not only to learn more about how plants grow in testing environmental conditions, but will address broader questions about the possibility of establishing human habitats elsewhere in the universe." ...

Texas Charter School System’s Use Of Creationist Textbooks Violates The Constitution, Americans United Says
Jan 30, 2014
"The biology curriculum used by a system of taxpayer-supported charter schools in Texas promotes creationism in violation of the U.S. Constitution, Americans United for Separation of Church and State says.
In a letter today https://au.org/files/Austin%20TX%20Charter%20... to the Texas Education Agency’s Division of Charter School Administration, Americans United warned officials that Responsive Education Solutions must not be permitted to continue to aggressively undermine the theory of evolution while receiving public funds. Americans United told the agency to either prohibit the use of this curriculum or revoke Responsive Education Solutions’ charter.
“The U.S. Supreme Court said more than 25 years ago that creationism is a religious dogma that cannot be promoted by public schools,” said the Rev. Barry W. Lynn, executive director of Americans United.“It amazes me that we are still fighting this battle in 2014, yet here we are.”
Americans United attorneys explained that Responsive Education Solutions’ science curriculum repeatedly attacks evolution. For example, the curriculum teaches students that evolution is “an unproved theory” which “has reached the level of dogma,” and that there are “holes” in the theory. The curriculum also presents as fact common false assertions creationists employ in trying to discredit evolution.
At the same time, the curriculum tells students that “intelligent design or creationism” are “other theories on the origins of life.” The curriculum repeatedly refers to supernatural creation as an alternative to evolution.
In other words, the curriculum attempts to lead students toward belief in creationism by first convincing them that evolution is false and then pointing to creationism as the other option.
Americans United’s letter, signed by AU Legal Director Ayesha N. Khan, Associate Legal Director Alex J. Luchenitser and Staff Attorney Ian Smith, explains that “the U.S. Supreme Court and the lower federal courts have consistently and unequivocally held that religious views on the origins of life, such as creationism,‘creation science,’ and ‘intelligent design,’ cannot lawfully be advanced in the public schools as alternatives to the scientific theory of evolution.”
The AU letter requests a response within 30 days. AU plans to send a similar letter to the Arkansas Department of Education, as Responsive Education Solutions also operates two charter schools in Arkansas. "

David Simon - Some People are More Equal than Others
Festival of Dangerous Ideas 2013
"There are two Americas. In one, bankers get golden parachutes, insider traders return to society as well-paid consultants, and influence is for sale. In the other, opportunity is scarce and forgiveness scarcer, jail awaits those caught possessing recreational drugs, and cries for help are ignored. Society preaches forgiveness for the rich and retribution for the poor. Entrenched inequality and its companion, poverty, are the dark side of the American dream for a citizenry united by name, but not by rules.
Is the divide fair, the result of natural winners and losers, or is it built into the system? We know that inequality is bad for the rich as well as the poor, and that more equal countries are healthier and happier, but this knowledge won't bring change by itself. What can be done when those with the power to change the divide are those that benefit most from it? As long as the more equal won't let go, the less equal will suffer." ...

The truth is is determined by facts, not opinion and the only reliable system for proving a fact is through the scientific method.
If you cannot prove your facts, your tuths are lies.
"“The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie--deliberate, contrived and dishonest--but the myth--persistent, persuasive and unrealistic. Too often we hold fast to the cliches of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

By the way you don’t know me at all. I would tell you don’t believe a think I say. I would tell you go out there and search on your own to figure out how this cosmos works. You go searching and you will be answered.
Everything I stand for is, you freaking idiot...think on you own. My god’s number one rule is, become an independent thinker and take chances on what you believe in.
