And there was the woman who stole from Country Business brokers and the woman who stole from Dr. Langweiler. I think if they handed out 5 to 10 year sentences as deterrence we would have a lot less stealing by women in positions of trust.

speakin of 'positions of trust'- what about the people's employees, our public servants in the so-called 'Justice' system who give slap-on-the-wrist penalties to their own cronies when they get caught being crims but throw the book at the rest of us?
the original post:
Crime & Our Hypocrite Prosecutors/Judges in Vermont
So let's see what the Vermont Just-Us system does for two different criminals who both embezzled money from their employer:
The news tells us that Kimberly Wilde just got 15 months in prison for stealing $200,000 from the lawyerscum she worked for, and she now has a felonly record and had to sell her house to pay back over half of what she stole, while former Windham County sheriff Sheila Prue got no jail time for stealing about one third that amount from the Public funds (OUR $$), and had the felony record expunged by the court for her, so her penalty was merely getting a couple of misdemeanors on her record and some community service work hours.
Unlike Prue, Wilde has an FBI page on her crime-
Vermont prosecutors conspired to deny the people's justice for this criminal Sheila Prue-- obvious cronyism for one of their own (corrupt Just-Us system favoritism)
"Prue has denied she did anything wrong and she has refused to relinquish control of the department to fellow sheriffs."
Then after she pled guilty she got a mere Slap-On-The-Wrist penalty- Her felony record from it expunged, and even anonymous help in paying her fines!:
As part of her plea agreement, Prue was ordered to pay $36,000 in restitution to the sheriff's department. She was told upon repayment, her felony conviction would be expunged from her record. Shortly after pleading guilty, she received a $26,000 check from an anonymous donor, paying off the remainder of her restitution amount.

-Remember that woman judge from upstate Vermont who got caught with a bunch of pot plants in 2007 and like Prue ALSO got a slap on the wrist?

at least in Virginia they gave one of their judges caught with the same amount of pot- SOME jail time!

A charge is one thing, but when ANYONE is adjudicated in court and CONVICTED, their name can be used by Anyone Anywhere in repeating the FACT that they were convicted, with no worry about liabilities/being sued etc.
