What this means is, the normal weight resriction on our interstates is 80,000 pounds.

We place a weight safety restriction on the Hinsdale bridge means New Hamshire does not allow combo weight higher than 100,000 pounds.

Translation..."we placed a weight safety restriction on the brattlboro bridge" means we allow an extra 20,000 pounds over the fedural weight legal limits.

A fully legal weight(100,000) truck going over the Brattleboro bridge is prohibited to go on I-91. It would be a huge fine in terms of $5000 to $10,000 dollars.
