Get used to it, the Affordable Care Act isn't going away no matter how much the dimwitted teabaggers who have hijacked what's left of the Republican party and their ignorant followers may whine about it.
9) All solutions must be government-oriented: Liberals may not be as down on government as conservatives are, but on some level, even they recognize that it doesn’t work very well. So, why are liberals so hell bent on centralizing as much power as possible in government? Simple, because they believe that they are better and smarter than everyone else by virtue of being liberals and centralized power gives them the opportunity to control more people’s lives. There’s nothing scarier to liberals than free people living their lives as they please without wanting or needing the government to nanny them.

10) You must be absolutely close minded: One of the key reasons liberals spend so much time vilifying people they don’t like and questioning their motivations is to protect themselves from having to consider their arguments. This helps create a completely closed system for liberals. Conservative arguments are considered wrong by default since they’re conservative and not worth hearing. On the other hand, liberals aren’t going to make conservative arguments. So, a liberal goes to a liberal school, watches liberal news, listens to liberal politicians, has liberal friends, and then convinces himself that conservatives are all hateful, evil, racist Nazis so that any stray conservatism he hears should be ignored. It makes liberal minds into perfectly closed loops that are impervious to anything other than liberal doctrine.

Can't and won't are two different things.
Keep wringing your hands about it though.
You know the difference between can't and won't. Aren't you smart. Good boy.

When are they going to defund the department of education and the department of housing and urban development and the department of defense and the department of you name it ?

The emotional basket cases are just putting on a show like we are being governed under a 2 party system. How's the change and hope going ? Obama was against NAFTA until he got elected and now he supports free trade.

There is no economy to recover, Obama care has nothing to do with it. Only a financially illiterate moron would think there is any difference between the 2 parties at this point and fall for this stupid health insurance drama which was just done to distract the idiot population.

Affordable Health Care Act should be sent through a shredder, followed by the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the IRS tax code.

This is becoming a classic tea bagger tactic. Its as childish as saying "now, change my allowance or I burn the house down!". Or a man with a suicide bomb saying "give in to my demands or I blow everything up"!

This strategy being sick has nothing to do even with the strength or weakness of any of the proposals themselves. There should be debate, and voting and the processes should draw out as long as they have too, no matter how agonizing it may be for both 'sides'.

But the threats to incapacitate the entire government because you disagree with a specific program or law? Childish and idiotic.

The following is a list of things that have now been, at various times, demanded by Republicans under threat of a government shutdown or default:

1. A balanced budget amendment

2. Approving Keystone XL

3. Eliminating funding for Planned Parenthood

4. Medicare privatization

5. Tax reform, as outlined by Paul Ryan

6. The REINS Act, which would require Congress to approve significant federal regulations

7. Means-testing Social Security

8. Defunding Obamacare

9. Allowing employers to eliminate insurance coverage for birth control

10. An expansion of off-shore drilling

11. Preserving all the Bush tax cuts

12.“Trillions” in budget cuts

13. Slashing funding for food stamps

14. Protecting mountaintop strip mining

15. Stripping the EPA of authority to regulate greenhouse gases

16. Loosening regulation on coal ash

17. Delaying Obamacare implementation by one year

18. Repealing a tax on medical devices

19. Eliminating Social Service Block Grants

20. Expanding drilling on federal lands

21. Restricting the child tax credit

America would be a better place if all of the above were done.

Government workers not working today? And this is different from any other day?

And so, all government services are "socialism" right? Did you not grow out of Ayn Rand once you became an adult?

Are you a truly self made man? No use of publicly built roads? Of medicines first developed in publicly funded labs? Of air traffic control? Of any public schooling? The police? The publicly funded military? Of things like satellites used for weather mapping, GPS, communications? And ... well for thousands of other things?

Or are you a ------ hypocrite?

Government spending at all levels (local, county, state, Federal) is out of control, including those examples you've mentioned; it’s unsustainable! Can you comprehend that simple fact or just another taker and don't care?

Reread the questions/answers angry boy. Some folks are arguing that basically ALL government should be shut down. And they are hypocrites because they, we, all use services from the military to the interstates all the time. Is government spending out of control? Yes, also corporate spending and meddling is out of control. America is following a classing pattern of empire decline ... and it sure as hell didn't all start on Obama's watch (though he isn't helping either).

State and the Federal governments are incapable of administering obozo care. The total chaos on the first day implementation is only the "tip of the iceberg" of incompetence; anyone who believes otherwise is insane!

Who are the "some folks" you are talking about. The tea party isn't against government. That is a liberal lie. What they are against is government that costs too much, tries to do too much, does too much poorly and relies on too few of us to pay for it all.

Aren't you just a little worried about the fact that fewer and fewer people are paying to support more and more people in this country? What prospects does your son Evan have for himself except higher and higher taxes?

So now I magically morphed into yet another person?

You have quite a poor grasp of reality, even for a teabagger.
