Turnip festival sprouts again at end of month

Every October, soon after southern Vermont's first good, hard frost, it's time to harvest the state's only heirloom turnip, the famous Gilfeather turnip.
Yes indeed! Looking forward to savoring that delicious rather unseemingly ugly veggie.
