CLAREMONT, N.H.-
A New Hampshire incinerator that turns trash into energy is shutting down.

Wheelabrator technologies will stop accepting waste Sept. 16 and close the Claremont plant for good Sept. 30. The company says it is a financial decision that was not influenced by critics who have called for the facility to close for environmental concerns.

Two dozen people are employed there and it pays the city $500,000 a year in taxes and utility bills. City officials say they are considering their options for future waste disposal.

Meanwhile right across the river in Springfield they are building a wood biomass plant. Does that make sense to anyone?

Since the liberal menace has taken over Connecticut, scum like you mention above are running wild. Thanks for taking some of those miscreants off our hand; keep them!

Is Brattleboro a sanctuary city? If so Connecticut has plenty of illegals we can export to you.

If we gave them a subsidy like we are giving to solar and wind they could afford to stay open and run. Jack the feed in to 26 cents like solar and let the residential customers pay the subsidy in their monthly electric bill.
