Before announcing her sentence, Judge Denise J. Casper of Federal District Court told him that the “scope, callousness and depravity of your crimes are almost unfathomable.” She said his crimes were made “all the more heinous because they were all about money.”
But, she said,“it takes no business acumen to take money from people at the end of a gun.” She recounted the grim list of his murders, how the victims were left to expire at the scene of the crime or stuffed in a trunk.“Unfathomable acts conducted in unfathomable ways,” she said.
Mr. Bulger, 84, wearing his orange prison jumpsuit, stared straight ahead as the judge explained her sentence and showed no emotion. He was convicted in August of a sweeping array of gangland crimes, including 11 murders and 31 counts of racketeering, extortion, money laundering, trafficking in cocaine and marijuana and weapons possession.

If I was the ultimate judge I don’t know if I would put him in jail. I’d rather have him running our NE streets reminding us who we once were...who we are.

I mean, his life was amazing transparency tool...he was a mirror that allowed us to actually see yourself.

They should put us all in jail for two lifetime jail sentences for allowing the politicians, the police and FBI to run rampantly out of control through the lifetime of Whitey.

Come on, what we we know without Whitey about the widespread political, organizational and police corruption.

A good guy couldn't have done that...

Running around our streets...not running them!
