That is only a part of it. So how much will it cost and what is the return on investment by saving a couple thousand a year in electricity costs? Amortize it over the life of the useful life of the equipment and give us the return. I can do that why can't you boy?
As I already told your alt:

"Let me teach you how to fish you git.

Go to a site like: http://estimator.solar-estimate.org/

Plug in the following numbers

1. Use a VT zipcode
2. Put in 1200 kwhr/year for usage (national avg is 11-1200)
3. Click the "Estimate My System" button.
4. Find someone smarter than yourself and have them explain to you what all those numbers mean."

Which number are you stuck at dummy?

Haha, As I said. You don't really know how to do the analysis as the numbers produced by that calcualtor are only part of the equation. Move on little boy.

Once again, you've been exposed as a liar and a fraud.

As usual, you still haven't produced one shred of proof supporting your claims all the while accusing me of the very behavior you are guilty of.

Why are you afraid to run the numbers and analyze the results yourself?

Typical teabagger chickenshit.

What's the rate of return on your investment little boy? What length of amortization is reasonable and why did you choose it? What is the increase in your property taxes (since the pro solar people have to include an increase (pure fantasy) in property value to make their proposals work)? And would anyone do any solar project DIY or otherwise if there were no tax credits? By the way how do you collect the tax credit? If you know.

You couldn't even run the numbers yourself and actually comment. All you are capable of is hurling insults and bullying while hiding behind your keyboard.

Maybe you should subscribe to this.

Now on to destroying more of your lies.

Lie #1 "What is the increase in your property taxes"

During the 2012 legislative session, Vermont passed a 100% property tax exemption for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems up to and including 10 kilowatts (kW).

http://www.dsireusa.org/incentives/incentive....

Lie #2 "since the pro solar people have to include an increase (pure fantasy) in property value to make their proposals work"

First of all, the analysis I chose doesn't include any increase in property value but since you were too lazy to run the numbers or too stupid to understand them, that fact sailed right over your pointy little head.

Second, numerous study have shown that adding solar PV does increase the value of your home. Of course, each installation is different.

You the ultra name caller complaining to me for using an actual description of you as a "little boy"? How weird.

The only people who think a solar installation adds value to a home are solar advocates.

You still haven't answered the basic question. What is the return on investment?

Why are you afraid to the calculator I linked to? I'm just trying to educate like you asked but unfortunately, you are too stupid to learn.

How about that list of projects you worked on?

How much more than $30K is that $100 per month system going to cost?

How about some proof that all solar equipment magically fails after 22 years?

How about the fact that you lied about property taxes?

How about the fact that you lied about solar panels increasing property values?

How about the fact that you don't understand the difference between the SPEED program and net metering?

Keep digging teabagger, even your alts can't save you now.

I have discussed the increase in property value issue with licensed appraisers and they don't think it does increase the property values. You do have to increase your property insurance if you want coverage against casualty loss. It was the people trying to sell solar units that were giving the bogus analysis, including the web site that you linked, that said that a solar system increased the property value.

I didn't know about the legislature had passed a bill about making the solar improvements property tax free.

I definitly know the difference between the SPEED program and net metering. That is why I asked you in reference to your DIY system claim what the feed in rate would be after the meter netted to zero. You still haven't answered.

Nor have you answered what the pay back on your $31k solar system is. And you haven't described how the tax credit works and how you get. I only ask because not everyone can make use of the credit. But you knew that already didn't you?

I also know that solar panels lose production efficiency over time. What is the rate of reduction and how does that affect the payback on your DYI $31k residential system?

Go look at my project on Western Ave.

No shit sherlock, I have to assume that's something else new you just learned today.

not factored in was the many yeears of storage in dry casks and then 'permanant' mountain retreats until the spent solar panels have depleted at least a few halflifes, and by then solar panel co.s could leak bigtime and solar energy producers could have mega-meltdowns due to too much EMP solar flare burst, and that's if we humans are still around otherwise at that time,
