Bratt Reformer Lies Again-Won't Retract BS On Gun Deaths

Last week the Brattleboro Reformer had another guest editorial by Becca Alint, this one was about GunSenseVT dot org and the cry of some for the supposed 'need' of more gun control laws.
The editorial is not available on the Reformer's site anymore buy here it is on a blog->
Becca, speaking of the woman named Braden who runs GunSenseVt said:
"Braden read everything she could about guns and was shocked to discover that Vermont has some of the least restrictive gun laws in the nation and the highest rate of gun deaths in New England—twice that of Massachusetts."
-Sounds shocking for sure, if it were true, but i's Total BS! What idiot believes that Vermont's gun deaths are twice that of Mass and the worst in NE?!? In 1 minute I found the FBI's own stats page on gun deaths per State which says Mass had 122 deaths by guns in 2011 while Vermont had 4 that year. To parrot that ludicrous BS of Braden's we have to wonder about the other supposed 'facts' that Becca relays.
Anyone interested in 'Gun Sense' ought to research the sense of mind/reasoning that the founders had in enumerating the 2nd Amendment. It had Nothing to do with hunting, and when they said 'militia' they were talking about the general public, the same 'We The People' that are supposed to be the sovereigns and hold the power here! The Constitution is the rules We wrote for They our government, those who are our public Servants, not our overlords or 'leaders'.
There are already thousands of gun laws in the U.S., and more of them is Not the answer. Read professor John Lott's book 'More Guns Less Crime'
The Brattleboro Reformer needs to print a retraction/correction of this blatant bullsh't they allowed in their paper.
But being that the paper is run by professional libscum liars who almost NEVER retract their BS, they will not likely issue a correction.

Here It Comes: Obama Calls For Gun Control, Again, In Aftermath Of Shipyard Shootings
It’s Not About Guns: Gun Control Is People Control
"Gun free zones don’t lower crime rates or even prevent mass shootings, so what do they do? Gun control allows megalomaniacal politicians to exercise control over law-abiding citizens through unconstitutional legislation that paves the way towards eroding the Bill of Rights at large.
The simple fact of the matter is that the attacks on the Second Amendment should concern you, even if you don’t own a gun."

Vermont comes in 48th in least restrictive states. http://smartgunlaws.org/wp-content/uploads/20...
According to the government's mortality ranker the CDC, VT's gun death rate (14.5 per 100,000) is nearly triple Massachusetts (5.1 per 100,000).
I agree that The Reformer needs to print the facts.

Yes, Vermonters shoot themselves when they commit suicide. Massachusetts people hang themselves or take pills. Check the homicide rates to find out that there are .3 gun homicides/100k in Vt and over 5 times larger in Massachusetts (despite all the gun control laws in place) 1.8/100k.

Here's the FBI stats page on deaths by firearms
Mass had 122 gun homocides in 2011, Vermont had 4 that same year. Mass's was 30 times Vermont's
Or one can beLIEve the CDC, those who tell us to get plenty of vaccines even for your're newborn babies- so they can be assured of either having autism or at least getting cancer before they get old
Bottom line- one is a lot more likely to get shot just visiting the Boston area or Springfield Mass than while living their whole life in Vermont
At both Concord and Lexington there are statues of patriot militia Minutemen holding rifles, they fought against the tyranny of the govt.
Yet today someone living in Mass (idiot) has to ask the tyrannical govt. for a privilege to have a firearm and go thru many hoops to get it and then they still ain't allowed keep it loaded and ready to shoot in case of trouble!
U2 & Bono's disgusting bullsh't pro-gun control propaganda dome during their 2001 Boston concert-
^the Boston police chief should have had Bono arrested! That footage of the little girl 'finding' a gun was blatantly staged, and would constitute child endangerment charges for whoever made it.
