Heifer Stroll now owns River Garden
Strolling of the Heifers closed on the Robert H. Gibson River Garden Thursday and the agriculture and education organization now owns the Main Street building.

I can't help but think that this is a mistake for the non profit. The state is considering adding these properties to the tax lists, Vermont Yankee is leaving taking all that disposable income with them....taxes, insurance, interest, maintanence, staffing, utilities....probably would have done better renting a small space at Cotton Mill. This will certainly divert money from their cause.
