It isn't a few mormons. It is official church policy.<quoted text>
That some mormons have had to concede to the truths of science due to it's overwhelming evidence on things like the age of the earth or that there is no conceivable way that the earth was created near the non-existent Kolob before magically flying into it's spot in our solar system only speaks to how ridiculously false the entire religion actually is.
And one does not become a bishop like Romney in the LDS church by questioning the LDS church or it's flawed religious superstitions.
Perhaps Obama is not the best qualified to be leader of the free world, but he is obviously much better qualified than anyone who wears magic underwear and thinks some mythical Jesus is going to return and rule part time from Missouri.

Official church policy forbids polygamy too, but that doesn't stop thousands of them from believing that it is a core belief and practicing it.
Mormans are gullible, delusional morons who should not be seen as fit for public office.
#167 Jan 7, 2013
but an admitted Marxist who attended 'Reverend' Wright's church for 20 years is just fine for the high public office with ewe huh Q?
The fact that the NWO marches on unabated and we've had More wars under him in the last 4 years than during Bush's 8 is good huh?

And we can all add Marxist now to the long list of things we all know that you don't understand from inside of your psychotic bubble.

"I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets." - Barack Obama (Dreams of My Father)
"Political discussions, the kind at Occidental had once seemed so intense and purposeful, came to take on the flavor of the socialist conferences I sometimes attended at Cooper Union" - Barack Obama (Dreams of My Father)
'Is Obama a Marxist?'(article written by a black guy, a former editor of the Michigan Law Review and law clerk at The Rutherford Institute)

^"In a Marxist worldview, government, or the State, is infinitely more important than people. Obama and the Democratic Socialist Party’s Marxist understanding will be made possible by the socialist promise of economic and societal utopia where there is an abundance of goods and services (“from each according to his abilities …”) that a developed socialist society will use to provide everyone’s needs (“… to each according to his needs”). The idea is that, with the full development of Western Marxism or scientific socialism and unrestrained productive forces, everyone’s needs will be satisfied in an egalitarian fashion.
That is a lie from the very pit of hell."
he ends with:
"...I’m hoping that Rep. Ron Paul’s Audit the Fed bill will start this process."
"One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It’s very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project, most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people who possibly can’t afford it." - Ronald Reagan

...Aaaand you predictably illustrate my point.
Thanks, another lie nailed to the counter!
#171 Jan 7, 2013
ewe'r counter must be pretty cluttered with all those lies of ewe'rs nailed to it!
#172 Jan 7, 2013
Thanks in part to you, yes I am happy to keep on nailing them down for the whole world to see.
There will always be room for a few more though, there is a sucker born every minute after all.
Thanks for the help my delusional comrade, your psycosis will be a warning to everyone for the life of the internets!
#173 Jan 7, 2013
"there is a sucker born every minute after all."
-not with extremist pro-death abortion lovers like ewe around!
so Soetoro AKA Obama ADMITTING in his own book to loving Marxism/socialism is not true? Ewe think I made up those quotes in #169 above?
It seems ewe also hates Facts like how Marxist/socialist extremist leaders visciously ordered the deaths of Well Over 100 Million in the last centrury
(notice I didn't even point out they were Atheists as well)
#174 Jan 7, 2013
Keep those lies and distortions coming, I've got plenty of nails!
#175 Jan 8, 2013
I'm sure it is official atheist policy not to kill people but that doesn't stop atheist killers like Lee Harvey Oswald.
Mormans are not any more gullible than you.
#176 Jan 8, 2013
Blah, blah, blah...
#177 Jan 8, 2013
There is only one atheist policy, a disbelief in a god or gods.
Atheists do not kill in the name of atheism, believers do kill in the name of god however, a lot.
Tell me, how is demanding good evidence gullible?
How exactly am I more gullible than Mormons, what is your evidence for this unsupported delusion.
#178 Jan 8, 2013
What does "ingnorance" mean. If it is just a typo forget about it. Now explain to me why I am wrong. The facts support my position. Obama won the minority vote by 19 million votes. Romney won everyone else by 15.5 million votes. Logic dictates that if Romney was black the black vote would have been split.
#179 Jan 8, 2013
Is that some of your same "logic" that said undecideds were going to break for Romney?
You are still an idiot.
#180 Jan 9, 2013
Athesim is a faith that there is no god. A belief is not a policy. It is an act of faith in your case. Just like most religions.
Demanding evidence is not gullible but making an act of faith in the face of no evidence is just as gulllible.
#181 Jan 9, 2013
Understanding the evidence is not an act of "faith".
Ignoring the evidence and believing that a supernatural god is somehow a valid probability however, is.
As an atheist I demand good evidence for a god or gods before I even consider them a valid probability.
An agnostic does not.
It is the agnostic who has the the gullible religious belief, with their "faith" that a supernatural god could likely exist in the absence of any evidence.
#182 Jan 9, 2013
The fact that we can neither prove nor disprove the existence of something does not put existence and non-existence on an even footing.
The question of the existence of a god is a scientific hypothesis just like any other.
The best we can hope to do with supernatural claims like this is to evaluate the probability.
Available evidence and reasoning yield an estimate of probability far from fifty percent, in fact it is so infinitesimally low that I live my life on the assumption that there is no god.
Just as I live my life as if Santa Claus, leprechauns, invisible pink unicorns, ghosts and witches are not real.
With all of the available evidence for how the universe actually works, all of these ridiculously improbable supernatural delusions can easily be discarded like the garbage that they are.
#183 Jan 9, 2013
The burden of proof lies squarely on the believer who makes the extraordinary claim to supply the extraordinary evidence.
What matters is not whether a supernatural god is disprovable, but whether his existence is probable.
#184 Jan 9, 2013
"...witches are not real."
that's as dumb as saying Christians ain't real Q!
They are one of if not THE most popular Meetup dotcom meetup group, most of em calling themselves 'wiccans' while other Meetup witch groups have no problem with the 'witch' term
and use that. They have websites and more. Go look in bookstores like 'Everyone's Books' in Bratt and ewe'll see that it doesn't have books for everyone but only for 3 kinds of people and one is witches AKA wiccans
One type will even (supposedly) help you find water underground
They even have protected religion status in the military now and even chaplains
google US Army Lt. Colonel Michael Aquino, I believe he was the first who was allowed to openly be one while in the military and that was back in the 60's!
classic- Monty Python and the witch
