NH Fireworks Stores And Bomb Making
CONCORD, N.H.(AP)— The older of the two Boston bombing suspects bought two mortar kits from a New Hampshire fireworks store in February, although the amount of gunpowder the kits would have supplied wouldn't have been enough on its own to detonate the bombs, company officials said Tuesday.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev bought two "Lock and Load" reloadable mortar kits containing 24 shells each on the evening of Feb. 6, said April Walton, the manager of Phantom Fireworks in Seabrook. He paid $200 cash but scanned his driver's license into the company's computer system as required by store policy.

Now it's only $200 worth of 'mortar' fireworks??
So why did WKVT radio news this morning report that he had bought $4,000 worth? And googling the $4,000 amount we find remnants of that story but originals of it are scrubbed from the net!
That WKVT AM news this morning quoted the FBI as saying the amount of powder bought would not be enough to have made the bombs- were they talking about the revised $200 amount? Since $4,000 worth would definitely have been enough to make several pressure cooker explosives.
"Phantom Fireworks in Seabrook confirmed that Tamerlan Tsarnaev obtained nearly $4,000 worth of mortars at the store in February."

The Time Square bomber uses Phantom Fires works also:
“We obviously need to band together to do everything we can to stop this,” Zoldan said.“The fireworks industry will do what it can to minimize this” in the future, he added.
Phantom’s name came up in a would-be terrorist case two years ago.
In his attempt to explode a bomb in a parked SUV on May 1, 2010, in New York’s Times Square, Faisal Shahzad, a Pakistani-born U.S. citizen, bought some Phantom firecrackers for inclusion in the device, which did not explode.
William Weimer, Phantom vice-president, said he believes that the firecrackers found in the SUV were intended, when lit, to start a chain reaction with other firecrackers and cause a fire, which was supposed to ignite the gasoline and propane inside the vehicle.

So maybe the media just stupidly got the decimal point wrong? They supposedly bought $200 worth but due to the Buy One Get One Free sales that Phantom and other such stores usually have, they got $400 worth-
Full Extent of FBI Role in Boston Bombing Will Never Be Known

Why the FBI got away with the first WTC bombing
NY Times actually had some truth about this, how the FBI had set up the Islamic insider/patsy to be and he started secretly taping his conversations with his FBI handler and proved to the Times that the FBI purposely gave him real explosives!
so ewe want to add Salon to Infowars for 'conspiracy theorist' alt media?
